Must have seeds in your/my collection?

I live in AK and the only genetics I have access to are the ones I find online and grow from seed for myself. I have put together a collection over the last year with about 20 different types of genetics. Mostly feminized singles from promotions along with some I saved from packs that I didnt initially plant. What are some must haves for a seed collector who wants to have a wide variety to smoke from. All of these are for medical use, btw, and I can only have 3 plants flowering at a time, so it takes me a while to go through them. That said, keep your list small but tell men your top 3-5 strains, thanks!

My top so far are Diablos Kush, Blue Widow, Chemo. I have a collection of them to but haven't tried them all. Gonna take me some time :)

Well since you are a medical user lets start with
1. Mr Nice- Medicine Man
Now lets go for something kinda old school and classic for a good mix
2. Flying Dutchman- The Pure "Skunk #1
Keeping with the idea of nice variety, lets hook you up with a good sativa
3. Serious Seeds- Kali Mist
Now lets hook you up with a nice Indica variety
4. Sannie's Seeds- KO Kush or Herijuana
lastly let's add some flavor to your variety and while you are ordering from Sannie go ahead and pick up something like
Jackberry, Killing Fields, Cheese Berry, or Chocolate Rain.....

That sounds like a well rounded variety to me anyway

i planted a chocolope last week and it just sprouted today, looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I had a finiky C99 a while back, not sure if it was me or the plant, but it didnt work out. Killing Fields is a strain that I have heard good things about, can you tell me a little more about it, or just your sales pitch for it would be fine ;)

Great post, thanks for the info and the laughs :). I didnt mention it in my opening post, but I am interested in finding some IBLs that I can breed at some point if I like them, so regular seeds only, no feminized crap. Thus why I like your Skunk #1 recommendation It seems like a must for any canna enthusiast. What other IBLs would you recommend I have Skunk#1 on my list as well as Hindu K, Durban Poison, and Afghani#1 for IBLs to play with. Any that I missed that you would say are a must have? I have done a lot of work with NL#5 and am not interested in getting back to it, and I like blueberry, but unless its a great cut, I think its a little played out. Thanks for the advice, interested in what else you might have to say!

seriouse AK47 as some awsome males to hack with and their Bubblegum.

Most of what Mr Nice sells is IBL like his Black widow another good tool for hacking. Nordle is probably a great Skunk#1/Aghani#1 to start out with as its already Inbred

Seedsman as a few IBLs direct from Sam Skunkman. O Haze (discontinued i think), Afghani#1,Mama Thai,Hash passion (morrocan), Skunk#1 and a NL#1 all of these are IBL from sam so their less inbred than some other dutchies (Better for finsing P1s). He also sells a IBL of White widow that is on par with Black widow (Rumoured to have bought shit load in bulk) but the fem version is more pissy widow

you should check out sannie's shop. he has several worked lines that are quite good. i just did a smoke report on his jack f7 that i was pleased with. he and breeders choice offer a lot of f3 or higher
lines.

Totally love c99

Sannies KF is a great wanna do something giggly high...easy to grow though some are a bit sensitive to N...yields really well and is one of the prettiest plants ever

Chocolope is a nute hog easy peasy to grow and a very special almost psychedelic high but not nearly as trippy as c99...great tasting and awesome yield

Also had a purple KF pheno that was trippy as hell...loved it

Sannie's Herijuana is an inbred line...

As far as other strains... I have a few other strains I am very interested in running myself... I am interested in a lot of Sannies gear. I also like the looks of a lot of Flying Dutchman strains like Pineapple Punch & Royal Orange. Serious Seeds AK47 & Bubblegum sound really good. Mosca Seeds Old Time Indiana Bubblegum looks to be an attractive "tasty" alternative to so other strains. Mandala Seeds have some interesting strains as well.

While I have to admit that Sam has had some winners he is a lowlife ratting DEA sell out and therefore I wouldn't grow anything of his even if given to me for that reason

It is common knowledge that the skunk strain was produced by him to give LEO a better chance of detecting mj...and that is one of the lesser evils that pos has done to our culture

Well-- Draig and I have grown (so far) over 120 strains, and have a lock-box with over 600 seeds of 235 strains....
(Draig is an admitted seed-whore-- collects them and the packages..even if we never get around to growing them all)

so.... only 5??

Uhm....
Sharksbreath, Hashberry, Mr. Nice G13 x Hash, Darkstar, Blue Cheese, Moby Dick

why do you call fems crap?
For breeding, not for growing. And I should state that I back that up only with what I have read and not necessarily what I have experienced. Though I have had several fems herm on me in my garden and I have never had a non fem do so. Am i mislead or are you claiming they ok to do breeding with?

I breed with them...no herms...only femmed herm I ever had was from Nirvana....if it hermed on you femmed then the parents express that trait...poor parental selection by the breeder but is not because of the feminization process if done chemically

Have had tons of rergs herm but those were landrace thai and south american sativas and it didnt bother me a bit as the high was electric to die for....been at this a long time
