Lol youre funny dude. I'm trying to keep it real with him I'd scrap those and start over theyve been through hell and back already. So thats my constructive advice 3 transplants and they dont even look an inch tall lol. I would start over and apply the knowledge you guys are giving him those dont look like there going to make it!
I know, im hilarious. :l
Its easy to start again. Haleo is walking the path less travelled, he is learning. The knowledge gleaned from this grow will help him more than you give credit for. We aren't bullshitting him, his plants look way better than they did at first. Yeah, his plants look shit now, but he is finding out what works and what doesn't. If you took the time to read, you would find me talking about this specifically. He's finding out now that yellow/green leaves are N hungry, and when he learns what his problem was... Low N or ph lockout... You can be sure he will remember it. He will really remember how plants transform almost magically when you are encouraging them. So, no. I don't agree with you.

Also, your hatred for MG shows that you only grow weed.

U shouldnt even b thinking about nutes at this stage of the game, & if ur using MG u need to b real careful cause its so unpredictable. I use it when i cant get anything else, but then like now im paying for it cause always being in a rush i used too much & my white widows r suffering & i just hope they pull out of it. Theres nothing wrong with ur set up, im still using cfl's & have very good luck with them, but im not trying to grow multiple lbs. This is a trial by error thing, & u will always learn by doing, & ur mistakes. Happy growing

Man I feel ya bro, I had a prob just like you when I started out, it gets better, My advise is 1) Don't start your babies in a cup, you end up over watering 'IMO'. 2) It doesn't matter what soil you grow in, you still have to find out what that soil is going to do for or against you, I stuck with MG cuz I can grow in it and it's cheap..lol.. 3) Experiment, by this I mean do things different with different bagseeds until you got it right. I was lucky, even though I fought nute def, then nute overdose, then spider mites my first is coming back strong with some frosty buds at week 3 of flower...and just to make you feel better..lol..I'll post 1 of my fuckups for you...good things first though..lol..

And now the bad..

View attachment 2577762this is what happens when you don't know how to grow with MG!!!

But like Bakatare says, this one was on the short bus...here she is now.. EDIT: this one is still in MG...
View attachment 2577770and you'll get it so quite gettin discouraged, it's trial and error bud.[/QUOTucking idiot.E] Wow you grow in miracle grow too huh?? No wonder and those buds are super tiny. What is that about a bowel a bud??? lmao
Those all look about dead, or would you rather me lie and say "great job they'll pull through"! I started off this way too and with cfls, youll get it man just takes trial and error but dont listen to everything these guys tell you do further research. Its not as complicated as theyre making it.
I wouldnt be bragging on those tiny buds or that I grow in miracle grow
Hes not doing good and youre an idiot who grows in miracle grow you dont even deserve a response from me really
Apparently you have issues if your trying to get a rise outa me. I don't like TROLLS, and I don't need your responses (neither does anyone else), and if you can't add something positive without being so imature about it, we don't need you here at RIU!!!!

Glad you guys worked things out by yourselves....it only took 20 pages but hey, baby steps right?
My ideal set-up I wouldn't be using Miracle Grow but I have and if I had to again, I wouldn't anything but MG Organic Choice Potting Mix....specifically this one;

It's a little bark in it with peat moss and an organic wetting agent. I has organic slow-release nitrogen in very small doses (.10 - .05 - .05 NPK)making it a decent base for amending with whatever you want. The only thing is with MG, is there's a lot of complaints about bags coming with bugs, but I've heard the same thing about some Fox Farm batches and Roots Organic soil also so be prepared for that possibility.
Imo, it's more important is that you NEVER use tap water unless you absolutely have to. Calcium in hard water can slow down the flowering process making your buds take forever to ripen, not including the pH, sodium and pollution issues.

I think when it's your first grow, just completing it is a victory. Don't worry about your yeild or how pretty or ugly your plants are....just get'em finished. You learn so much more through going through the process rather than talking to scumbags like us.

You show em beans! I am not an MG grower, always end up frying my seedlings from overwatering. I use Fox farm which is basically just a higher price tag form of MG, but imo I am paying for a lil more consistency and quality from fox farm. I also noticed scotts and MG have way more large chunks of bark as filler....

Mhmmm!.. bark is killer depending on the application, if water pH is naturally high (on the scale of 7 - 8 or you're in a part of the world where pH concerns are a major problem for cannabis.. there is nothing that pine bark can not fix if you don't over-do it. (This by no means is a recommendation to use pine bark in soil all the time, this is only in semi-extreme conditions where it can be regulated by more than a shitload of pH down.)

OK you've succeeded in making me realize I'm being an asshole I need to cut that out, bad karma and I do apologize. I have grown some nice tomatoes in mg and grew some nice pot plants in it too, the only problem I had with it was that I harvested with the leaves still green. I couldnt flush those time released nutes out!!! Other than that the plant grew huge and the smoke was killer tasted like shit though. I had his same setup starting out. He has the tools to produce some bud thats for sure.

Something about Haleo's thread brings out the best in us all. It's cool man, we're all brothers here. :)

Shwag Bagseed grown in MG Organic Choice

Those look good no question you can veg nice plants in mg but come flower time you'll never be able to flush the nitrogen out. Heres pics of one I did in mg myself. It was beautiful but I'll never grow in it again.

You're totally right. I just brought a killing fields seedling back from the brink of death because I didnt have it covered for the humidity. I paid alot for that bean though! lol

this is going to sound really crazy but when I am in doubt of any soil, mg, yard soil, old planter soils, I carefully place it in a baking dish and cook it slowly on 250 degrees in the oven until it starts steaming and then a little longer to kill any non-beneficial bacteria, organisms and other materials/toxins. You'll want to stir it a little during the baking process. Remove it and cool it down. I also cut used banana peels into squares and bake them until they harden up and are a nice black color (think of charcoal). Cool and add to soil. This adds back some potassium and phosphates to the soil.I had awesome results last year doing this. Since there are no nutrients that can survive the heat you will want to start nutes a few weeks after planting.
