Containers and Bloom got here today. The net pots aren't quite as aerated as I had them in my head... I hope this works. I'll try and get the veg tent running this week. I planted another bag seed from some dank middies I got, the other one I had in the batch never sprouted, this this one came up after 3 days and since 3 am has gone from cotyledons to true leaves and already looks hairy. Both seeds were vary large, and very patterned. Possibly the largest I've seen. Maybe I got lucky!

So, I was doing some reading last night on pH and nutrient absorption and normally, pH will become more acidic as you water, leaching the Ca and Mg away from the soil. however in my case, my soil is only 6.5 at the very top and 7.0 throughout the rest of the media. The recommended fix?! Lightly water, make pencil sized holes around the drip line and one near the center and add elemental sulfur for turning hydrangeas blue to each hole, then cover and finish watering. So I did it, seeing as both my plants show the same symptoms, I'm thinking perhaps it is more pH concern than feeding, but they also are heavy eaters.

I transplanted my mothers into their permanent homes, they had some super healthy and very long and dense roots. I should have taken pics, but my phone was dead. My DIY superroots worked. I just placed my order for a 2ft 4 bulb T5 HO fixture with 5 year warranty and included 6500K bulbs, for $89 shipped. Oh happy day! Now I just need to make sure that the design I have in my head to build inside the tent will hold the proper amount of weight. I'll have to take into account both the weight of the light fixture for vegging and the fixture for cloning, as well as the weight of the mothers up top. I'll see if maybe I can't draw something up in paint and upload it, or on a notepad.

The new seedling is growing every day. She is most likely very heavily indica dominant. I'll definitely need to design ventilation with an air scrubber for the veg tent, as every time I open the door, I catch a nice whiff! I can only imagine the power of the smell when I have mothers and vegging plants going!!

The T5 HO I ordered was here when I woke up today! Damn that was fast!!! I already hooked it up and it is definitely high quality. It is covering all the plants I have in the veg room right now with no problem and room to spare, they are a little N and P deficient so I'll feed them next watering. Its about time to go by worm castings!!! I'll see if I can upload some pics while I watch Skyfall. I just went out and picked it up. Oh and Pinky looked greener today, but still not where I want her for flowering, so her and Diesel are getting another 3-5 days and then I'ma flip 'em and start working on measuring and cutting all the wood for the veg/mother cab. The Sulfur around the drip ring and one near the base worked, pH is 6.5 now, so they should be doing better. I guess it was my fault for not knowing how long certain elements would stay in the soil, but at least I'm learning from my mistakes!

I've got more pics, just didn't feel like posting them. Smoked a few too many. I topped Pinky's cutting today and have attempted another clone for a possible outdoor somewhere. I also popped my 2 Apollo 13 seeds from a bag. They were from a selfed plant, so I'm no sure if stress from grower, or hermie genes. I really want some c99 from Mosca but he's out EVERYWHERE. Someone claims to have an f-2 of Mosca but I'll pass and get them from Mosca. So this is why I planted the A13. Am I correct in assuming that this will be an "exact" representation of the bag it came from since it is selfed?! Or will it be genotype and not phenotype?!

So, my timer is still on 14/10, but I think where I had a power outages in the middle of the night twice in 4 days told Pinky to start flowering, so she has tiny pistils at all her tops. I took pics on my phone, but I have to wait for them to get to my email to post, and I'm about to go to work, so tonight I'll get everything updated. The ones in LED color suck, my camera doesn't have the capability to separate the colors properly and it blurs. But I have real color shots when I take them out to water. So, Diesel didn't do it (throw pistils out), but since the pH problem is fixed and the stems are all returning to a pretty shade of green and even growth that has fallen off is revegging, I decided to just flip to 12/12. I don't want to cause any problems on these, but I have mothers now, so if anything goes wrong, I'm not too far behind. I've waited far too long to get some of my own homegrown, and the clones are frosting up on the stems and leaves since I fixed their pH, so this is going to be a fun 8 1/2- 12 weeks!

Has anyone here ever grown Mosca's Bubblegum that can comment on high type and smell/taste profile?! I saw some shots of his personal that were a BEAUTIFUL fall red/yellow, the leaves all curling the same way, I know that this pheno I have is my best known representation in my opinion of the 3 times I've had bubblegum, but I love hearing what other people think.

I was trying to show deficiency from lockout for you. I have more pics coming of the nodes where I get the ring on the stem on diesel. I know she's a breeding keeper. I also have pics coming of pistils and slightly better looking plants. I hate showing them like this. All that brown is bleaching from the light being too intense for the young growth, so I just hung it with the cables that shipped with it.

I found my next strains. I can't find Mosca c99 ANYWHERE, but I found Dream n Sour (Bluedream x (Jack Herrer x Sour Diesel)) and another cross that's Blue Lavender and its Blueberry OG cut x Lavender. My only dilemma, is that these are not offered together on one site except for cannazon and I know of no one with experience with them. If someone could tell me that they have ordered and received prompt service and no funny business or bad shipping or germ rates, then I'm all ok, if not then I guess I'm not getting one. Attitude doesn't carry the Blue lavender, and that sounds like the perfect indica for me. Canna has both strains, but like I said, I know nothing about them. I'm just trying to get the right base in my line up so that I can have some strains to play around with and breed. Right now the focus is daily/nightly smoke. Any help is much appreciated.

I found them both in stock at seed depot. They are reputable, no? Still no Mosca c99, but cannazon has an f4 c99 supposedly from orig bros grimm stock. Just skeptical. Again, any tips are much appreciated.

Went ahead and placed my order through the tude! First time order! I ended up getting 2 freebies. One Jack Diesel from Positronics and one Blue Dream from Humboldt, which I've wanted to try anyways. These will be good comparisons for my phenos of Dream n Sour. From what I can find, these are under 1 year old. So I guess I'll be doing some help with finding phenos for everyone. I'll only be doing 5 seeds at a time, so as to be more careful about selection. I will most likely keep at least 1 male for future breeding purposes. There are a lottt of great genetics in these babies.

I thought I had sent more pics, but I guess I need to reactivate my phone for them to go through. I'll update when they get here. I ended up only taking a nap tonight for bed instead of sleeping, so I think I'm going to lay back down for a bit before I have to go back to work again. Maybe the pics will be here when I wake up. Stoked for these Dream n Sour!!! They sound delicious and I love the high of all 3 so this is going to be hard choosing a keeper! I might have 3!

Well, I put airtime on my phone, but I still don't have internet back on it, so no pics for the moment. I gave both girls a medium light feeding. This Flora Nova series is a 1 part nute, NPK and CaMg and other micro-nutes. Diesel just started to throw her pistils but Pinky is covered. She is going to be huge... I counted 14 or 15 tops on her, but 3 are medium and 1 is small, the rest are within 1" of each other in height.

One of my Apollo 13 seeds cracked its head up this morning, it hasn't thrown the casing off, but I bet by tomorrow it will have its cotyledons out. It sprouted out in 6 hours from when I last checked it. I have my outdoor garden germing in there with it, California Bell, Black Krim(beefsteak with 10-12 oz tomatoes), and Jalapenos (on a steek!!! .) I'll give the other A13 a few more days. One of them wasn't as healthy as the other, but this might actually be the lighter colored one and not the striped one, if so... crazy! Also, the random seed I planted from that sack already smells. Just threw her 3rd node this morning and she is 1 week old, not large, but stacked, and she has this musky musky hint of sweet and a little earthen smell. I can already see little hairs on all her true leaves. Maybe a secret random winner! Also, I got an email from the tude that my seeds have been sent this morning before I woke up! Stoked!!!!!!!

Soft reset on the phone, internet came back. Pics on the way. Pinky is in full swing flower and is just starting the beginning of stretch, her leaves have reached upwards since this morning at lights on. Diesel is reaching as well, but not so much, and hasn't thrown as many pistils out yet, but still knows shes flowering. I was wrong about which Apollo seed cracked, it was the pale one. I just recently read that the Cindy line has paler colored seeds. The other one I have is a medium brown and a few speckles, but no real striping going on. They are both definitely from the same batch though. I got them out of the same nug. Has anyone had any experience with this? I can tell by her first true set of leaves that she is already sativa dom if not majority. Yes, shell still on this morning to cotyledons AND a true leaf set tonight. I love T5 HO! Also probably has something to do with genetics. I'm going to have myself a nice little variety here. Alright, sorry for the incessant rambling. Pics on the way.

I was supposed to finally go get the shiskaberry x hashplant tonight but I never got the phone call so Idk wtf is going on. Pics 4-7 are Pinky. Pics 8-10 are Diesel. 11 is Apollo 13 poking it head up. I'll have the shot of her with true leaves next update. 12 is the purpling of the stem from P lockout Diesel, she is getting better though. Gotta keep the pH in check!!! 13 is the node stacking on Diesel. 15 is the ring trait on Diesel's mother. 16-21 are Pinky showing off her tops. 22 and 23 are Diesel and hers. and 24 is the FIM on Pinky's mother.

So I discovered my problem today completely by accident! And also realized yesterday while seed hunting this year for some flowers that venus fly traps are a perfect way to control fungus gnats!!! My problem is that somewhere in conversion from tsp to mL and Gal to L that I was feeding wayyyy too many nutes. I did that flush and they are getting nothing but plain water now for the next 2-3 waterings and then I will start them back on nutes. However, I'm going to give them the first dose of Bio Bud as the transition phase is definitely over, time to get the swell on!!!

A13 has thrown out its new tips for the 2nd true set of leaves. That random bagseed really has some definitive leaf edges. It has some very maple leaf looking leaves. Maybe the Maple Leaf Indica is somewhere in the parentage?! Who knows?! All I got right now is that she's frosty and stacked and she's just barely over a week old from seed and on node #4. All 4 of my Krim Tomato seeds sprouted. I think I'll be giving 1 or 2 of them away. No cotyledons and I already know which one is my keeper.

Update time!!! I'll come back with pics later, waiting on them to arrive. MY SEEDS ARE HERE!!!!!!!! SO EXCITED! I planted 6 out of 15 of the Dream n Sour and my 2 freebie fems. I'm working on gathering materials for my own version of Super Soil but I will be using coco coir as my base and deviating slightly from the recipe. I bought a soil test for Pinky, and realized I should have bought about 5 more, but oh well. My pH is a little too close to 7 and I have what at first appeared to be too little P and 2 minutes later was very high P, but low N and K levels, actually very low N and just mildly low K, but I had already mixed food and fed, but only on light feeding schedule, so it should be ok. Next time I'll just feed with 5-1-1 fish and my Sea Magic kelp meal in a tea. Everyone has gotten a fungus dominant AACT, including clones, in an attempt to balance pH (before I got the kit.) When I overfed Diesel's clone and consequently flushed, I flushed a little too hard, because today from 2 days ago, she has 5 deficiencies, so like I said, everyone ate today.


I'm going to be starting a new thread for the pheno hunt and I'll link it both in this post and in the first post so that no one gets confused and this grow can still be followed by those that wish.
