How much did you spend on your grow room?

I'm sure there are a lot of growers that do just as good with a cheaper grow room. It's all about the strain of the quality your going to get
That's not so true. 100 dollar grow room will never be able to out perform a 1000 dollar grow room.

Unless you moved into a house with a grow room already there, spending $100 and putting plants under a light does not mean you have a grow room.
On my first real grow I spent about $1200, that included:
2 600 watt lights w/hood
6 in cabon filter
6 in exhaust fan
6.5ftx6.5ft grow tent
30ft of ventilation ducting
r/o filter w/reservoir and watering wand setup
A nice mister for foliar feeding
soil, pots, nutes and stuff for compost tea, air pump for tea brewing, 12x clones
I think that was everything. When I was younger I put some plants in a closet with a light, but that is not really a "grow room".
I could have shaved maybe a little off my total if I had shopped around a little more, or looked for sales, but for the setup I got, for the money I spent, it would be hard to do much better.
After all my first grow with that setup yielded 2.4 pounds of VERY nice GDP.

On the left, the described grow room in week 5 of flowering, I think the cola close-up was taken about the same time.

That's just wrong, yes genetics play a huge role but if they are not offered optimal conditions? . My 200 dollar hydrofarm reflector is going to outperform the cheap ass reflectors with bad designs, this is just one example! If everyone could grow fire with shit equipment, there wouldn't be an industry!

Your leaves look a little messed up, but for the most part it looks ok.
How big is that grow room though?

Ya may seem that way but when trimmed up should look nice and have over an ounce in the one top.

You may think its ready but there isn't any swell in those flowers surrounded by necrotic and dried up leaves. It won't get you very high!

Unless that is an old photo, that bud will not be ready in a week.
Granted it's not a great photo, but it looks like almost none of your pistols have started to change color yet, which means your trichomes will still all be clear.
Early harvest is a common mistake, particularly in $145 grow rooms...... Wait till your pistols change color, and the resin starts to get cloudy, then it is time to harvest.

The bud in this picture is in the middle of week 6, and still has at least 2, probably 3 weeks to go. Note that some of the pistols have started to change on this one, but it still has quite a ways to go.

About $92 so far

That's decent. I think I spent £35 on my 200w CFL, £10 on the lead and fitting for it, £15 on nutrients and £5 on 2 wall fittings for b22 bayonet cfls.

£65 is not a bad price really :D

I spent more on seeds than equipment lol.
£23 on C99
£23 on Lemon Kush
£44 on Durban Poison

Pots were given to me by someone who stopped growing because he got busted.
12inch fan was given to me by the same person.
Timer was given to me by the same personal also.
Medium cost nothing as my mother bought it for her garden years ago, so I blagged it.

The rest of the stuff I had laying around the house. I use a closet so didn't have to pay out for a tent or anything. I get decent temps and humidity, 79F + 52% humidity after 12 hours of light and after 12hours of darkness the room is 72F + 34% humidity.

I am planning on upgrading all of my kit though, I'm just stuck between LED and HPS.
