So he booby trapped the house to burn down? Well he did say they weren't taking him alive, even if he doesn't die by LAPD hands it would seem. That pisses me off, I'd like to see this fool rot.
Well, he knew they'd use tear gas.. and he knew they may use incendiary.. that's a hell of a flammable combination.. which they in effect, would set the fire.. and he'd have ammo cache with ammo flying everywhere should they have chosen to breach then rush blindly... and there's more ammo going off as of 30 seconds ago w/it fully engulfed.. per sheriff 6/7/8. They're discussing the fact that this has a basement too, which is going to be more than semi-interesting.

More smoke - but it is white, why so long for the fire trucks? They didn't have them standing by?

Yeah I agree canndo. Why would someone with that much credentials and in a career he wants to be in, make a false claim that his fellow officers were using excessive force? Doesn't make sense to me. At some point you have to think morally he might have been doing the right thing standing up and saying something, and not just making up a false statement. I am sure these cops have a code of silence all of them are supposed to go by. If you rat your brothers out, then you are shunned.

Based on his actions thus far, I would propose that this man is not of sound mind. I see it as very likely that he would make false claims at this point, based on what type of person he has shown us that he is. He clearly has a diluted sense of reality to think its okay to go on a rampage for getting fired from you job, wronged or not.

They're getting ready w/ram or are going to open with rounds.. more than likely - may drive swat armored in... but haven't heard mention of it on a public channel yet..
I don't get it the footage I saw looked like the whole cabin was engulfed in flames.. not much left to breach lol

You drink too much koolaid a person preparing to die has little reason to lie, especially about something as trivial as what he stated.

They used breaching charges and said they were using the gas initially.. after that, they said things were starting to burn.. about 10-ish min later they said fully engulfed.. on the scanner, anyway.

No, this guy might be very very angry and he might even be nuts but he is not insane, he may well be gone again, I am not sure that the cabin that is burning is the same one he was in. There is something going on here that isn't right - they seem to continue to tell the choppers to leave and then they seem to keep going back over the area.

My point is still valid. Non mentally ill people dont go on murderous rampages for losing their job. Even if they are wronged, it happens everyday. This guy is the one who made it a life and death situation. It has nothing to do with koolaid. I don't deny that LAPD is corrupt as fuck, and that maybe he was wrongly terminated. But none of that justifies killing innocent people. Sounds like you are drinking a different flavor of koolaid...the one where what he's doing is ok?

Nuts but not insane? Very very angry? Still don't see the justification here.

Is the orange and white chopper you see orange nose, white in the middle, orange tail? If so, although it'd be somewhat out of place... that could be a coast guard jayhawk.. and it has some really nice belt-fed guns on it if so equipped. The cabin is burning like mad due to the propane inside of it too, just came through .. they didn't do research before burning something with pressurized gas inside? .. hmm.

Edward "Ned" Kelly (June 1854 or 1855 – 11 November 1880)[SUP][1][/SUP] was an Irish Australian bushranger. He is considered by some to be merely a cold-blooded killer, while others consider him to be a folk hero and symbol of Irish Australian resistance against the Anglo-Australian ruling class.[SUP][2][/SUP]
Kelly was born in Victoria to an Irish convict father, and as a young man he clashed with the Victoria Police. Following an incident at his home in 1878, police parties searched for him in the bush. After he killed three policemen, the colony proclaimed Kelly and his gang wanted outlaws.
A final violent confrontation with police took place at Glenrowan on 28 June 1880. Kelly, dressed in home-made plate metal armour and a helmet, was captured and sent to jail. He was convicted of three counts of wilful murder[SUP][3][/SUP] and hanged at Old Melbourne Gaol in November 1880

The only reason people don't kill more frequently is harsh punishment it has little to do with mental stability. Hell we will watch this and see the people that die eat a sandwich and go to bed without giving two fucks.
