Leopard are much stronger than Mt lions... Ever seen a Mt Lion pull a 12ft giraffe 30 feet up into a tree?
Furthermore, there are actually stories of even GSDs killing leopards. I'm not sure it's true as a 200lb leopard will fuck shit up, but I've heard them nonetheless.

I love when lions kill hyenas, they should cull 35% if hyena to even the scale...since man damn near killed off the lions.
Yup, leopard are badass can carry twice their weight up a 90° angle tree...60 feet in air.
Cougar also brings food in tree, closest comparrison I could think of...jag much larger than leopard. Lions n tigers even larger.

If it weighs more than 70 pound and looks like a pit it is a mastiff cross bred to look like a pure pit.
Most breeds are getting ruined by people changing what the breed was bred for and the functional size for the work the dogs originally did.
The Corso was a cattle dog that would have been 24 inches or less and weighed less than 90 pounds the functional size not being to tall or heavy to avoid kicks to the head by cattle and horns.
The Corso Neo and Presa are all remade breeds made from many crosses lately they have been breeding a lot of boxer in the Italian dogs and they are shorting the muzzle It is sad.
The dog always has a chance against a large cat or hyena If it can get the neck first and can hold on while the bottom claws are scratching the crap out of the dog.
The dog would win very few times.

The dog is actually >120lbs currently and I know for sure it is a pure bred as I've seen both parents as well. Just not positive of the breed, as it isnt my dog, but he has always said pit
Leopards and Jags are badass creatures. As a kid I always marveled at how strong leopards were, being able to even take down 1ton buffalo on occasion. If I was stranded in Africa, I would honestly be more afraid of a leopard than a lion. Firstly due to their natural stealthiness, but also because lions are normally lazy fucks, but if they do choose to pursue you, there isn't really shit to do but hope to use a weapon you already have

i was watchin some documentary a while back and it turns out for just pure stamina humans beat most warm blooded creatures paws down.
it blew my mind but they backed it up with facts and figures.

I don't recall, but I do remember that it explained why we evolved away our fur. Our superior heat loss ability (skin, sweat, area to volume) allowed us to run big, strong animals into an exothermic coffin corner. cn
