True, mean wasn't the best word; he really just acted like he knew he was the baddest guy around. I still don't know who thought giving me a chow as a child was a wise choice, a 8 year old should not be responsible for a breed like that. lol Mine probably would have been a lot better if someone qualified to train him had been around.
the beauty of a fine breed like chows, border collies and retreivers is that they dont need extensive training to do what they are meant to do.

Chows were meant to be a furry bro. you gotta treat them like a bro.

they can be great livestock protection animals, as long as you dont EVER let them know that the livestock is kept for food. he had seen me butcher a wabbit, so he associated my rabbits (quite correctly) with "future food" so when he was peckish, and a bunny was loose, that bunny went down the hatch. he never harmed the goats, and never bothered my grandpappy's cows or horses. i know for a certainty if he had ever seen me butcher one of my chickens he would have scarfed down half my coop inside a week. he wasnt much of a herder, and couldnt fetch shit. if you threw a stick he would just look at you, like "Yeah, Fuck Sticks." but if a stranger or a stray dog came into my yard he was always ready to throw down. Chows are a lot like a hockey team's Enforcer. not much use in actual hockey, but if you need somebody's face broken, put him in! he's ready!

likewise, a broider collie may be a kickass natural critter herder, but he makes a shit guard dog.

golden retrievers may fetch the shit out of stuff, but they cant herd shit. when the chickens are loose, a border collie will have them back in their pen in a minute, but a golden will bring them to you, dropping a slobber covered traumatized chicken at your feet before heading back for the next one. chickens hate that shit.

and as a guard dog, goldens are less menacing than a butterfly in dappled sunlight.
im pretty sure my golden actually helped a crackhead steal my bike.
she was the only one who knew the combination.

english bull terriers are one of the pit fighting terrier's contributing lines, and those can push 100 pounds pretty easy.

the "pit bull" is an ad hoc breed, cobbled together for illegal (and unethical) pit fighting, i dont think there can really be a standard for a pit fighting mixed breed dog.

Sure there. Is a standard ...and 100lbs. Is way over...it would be akin. To a 150# dogo. Or a 200# corso.

Police who can't be bothered to verify their targets open fire on two vehicles; two innocent people shot. The person they're looking for wasn't in either vehicle. Now I have to worry about getting gunned down by trigger-happy cops? From http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2013/02/ex-cop-manhunt-newspaper-delivery-women-shot.html : Two women who were shot by Los Angeles police in Torrance early Thursday during a massive manhunt for an ex-LAPD officer were delivering newspapers, sources said.
The women, shot in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue, were taken to area hospitals, Torrance police Lt. Devin Chase said. They were not identified. One was shot in the hand and the other in the back, according to Jesse Escochea, who captured video of the victims being treated.
It was not immediately known what newspapers the women were delivering. After the shooting, the blue pickup was riddled with bullet holes and what appeared to be newspapers lay in the street alongside.

Local, state and federal authorities are involved in a massive search for Christoper Jordan Dorner, 33, a former Los Angeles Police Department officer who is believed to have threatened "unconventional and asymmetrical warfare" against police in an online manifesto, and was suspected of shooting three police officers, one of whom died, early Thursday in Riverside County.
Dorner also is suspected of killing a couple in Orange County earlier this week.
Sources said the Los Angeles police detectives involved in the Torrance shooting were on protective detail for a police official named in the suspect's supposed manifesto, which was posted on what authorities believe is his Facebook page.

A second shooting, involving Torrance police officers, occurred about 5:45 a.m. at Flagler Lane and Beryl Street in Torrance. No injuries were reported in that incident.
Chase said that in both instances police came across vehicles they thought were similar to the one Dorner is believed to be driving. Neither vehicle was Dorner's.

is this the guy there tring to blame for killing that asain bitch and her man in fullerton? i dont thik buddy did that seems like he a scapegoat... its not his m.o. seems shooting cops is.. good for him and fuck the faggit ass cops for shooting innocent women

why would you not want a corso at 200 lb? i mean, fattening up a regular sized cane corso to 200 lb would be dumb but if he was just a big boy why not? add a couple inches at the withers and a couple inches along the beam and you could have a cane corso tipping the scales at 200 lb without much trouble.

theres a lot of variation in that breed in particular, since they arent war dogs any more, so a lot of substandard undersized pooches got to breed where they would otherwise have been sent off for use as cattle dogs or whatnot.

Nah man, if a corso is 200 it has been back crossed with a Neo. A couple things wrong ...

Americans ruin dogs with the bigger is better b.s.
if you want a 200 lb dog get one...don't breed a 135 dog to larger breeds n call it a corso or something. Else it. Is not...I not a fan off neos, too much wrinkles n drool.

200 lb dog are easy to gas out n can't work ...the only exception is the boerbul ...aka south African mastiff ...they are kinda. Work dogs n it gets hot as fuck down there.

nah, im not sayin i would try to breed up their size, but if you got a pup and it just kept getting bigger till it was well past the standard, i wouldnt dispose of him, or cut his nuts off. the standards are for show, i like my dogs to be able to work, and for a cane corso's job, bigger can be better.

caane corsos are livestock protection and guard dogs, them mountain lions aint gonna kill themselves.

well, not unless theyre like really depressed.

hyenas would never encounter a mountain lion since hyenas are from north africa, further, hyenas are primarily scavengers not hunter. when faced with any large predator hyenas expel their stinkjuice and run.

theres a reason calling somebody a hyena is an insult. they are smelly cowardly scavengers.

and no, a pit bull will not be drowned by a raccoon. raccoons dont drown predators, not even domestic dim witted predators.

raccoons also do not reach 50 pounds. whoever tells you this shit is fucking with you.

occasionally a little ratlike Toy type dog will yap at, and corner a raccoon, at which point the raccoon will turn. little yappy lapdogs are of course no match for the dirty street fighting ability of a raccoon and the tiny little anklebiter goes down like a sack of shit. when this happens, the raccoon thinks to himself "Meh, waste not want not" and starts washing the little ratlike dog's corpse in the swimming pool in preparation for eating it. but raccoons do that with all their food. it's an instinct, the raccoon is programmed to eat garbage so washing it's food is a survival trait. thats how the "raccoons drowning dogs" myth got started

raccoons to not have the upper body strength, or the mass to force a larger dog's head under water, and your dog doesnt have any information that would be useful enough to a raccoon to justify this kind of effort.
plus, even under torture your dont aint giving up shit.

your secrets are safe, your dog is a Bro.

Haha I have no idea what Barbados are.

Ofciurse a hyena n cougar would not meet naturally...but a leopard n cougar very similar....in a one on one. Fight I bet leopard wins 70%.

But a leopard wont rush injury needlessly ...hyenas actually are great hunters, they rub prey to exhaustion
