That's what I'm saying! I've never tried it, only due to lack of availability, but I plan to. What's it akin to God?
It's like beef but leaner. As horses age their meat becomes more tender unlike most other animals where their meat gets tougher.

I like beef. Sounds like a done deal. Interesting about the age of the animal. Old horse is the new veal. :-P

They need to bring out buffalo burgers. I'd eat the shit outta some buffalo burgers.
They sell these at the supermarkets near me...they dry out fast and are best cooked med-rare...or if you mixed in some more fat...super lean though if you're looking for a healthier beef alternative, right?

I would suggest that no one eat out, shit who knows what's in your food at the market.
Unless you raise it, feed it and slaughter it and then process it you really dont know whats in it........Reminds me of the old saying what you dont know won't hurt you.....Hell it seems that has become the motto of this damn country

We have a restaurant over here that does the same thing...you walk in and the walls are covered with exotic taxidermy animals. Saddle Peak Lodge...pretty cool place actually, and in the middle of bumfuck. Like nothing else around except a fire station and rolling hills with sporadic houses.

My instinct always told me to stay away from Burger King. Something about the establishment always struck me as trashy, the underclass of the fast food world. Its a shame, horse king is now the nickname.

McDonalds barely has enough meat in their food to make unsuitable for vegans, just barely though.

I'm sure you try your best to only eat plant protein.

In practice, it is not possible to eliminate pest insects from the human food chain. Insects are present in many foods, especially grains. Food laws in many countries do not prohibit insect parts in food, but rather, they limit the quantity. People in rice-eating regions, for example, typically ingest significant numbers of rice weevil (Sitophilus oryzae) larvae, and this has been suggested as an important source of vitamins.[SUP][57][/SUP]
The Food and Agricultural Organisation specifies in the Codex Alimentarius standard for wheat (Codex Standard 152-1985 : Codex Standard for Wheat Flour) that :[SUP][58][/SUP]
3.1.2 Wheat flour shall be free from abnormal flavours, odours, and living insects. 3.1.3 Wheat flour shall be free from filth (impurities of animal origin, including dead insects) in amounts which may represent a hazard to human health.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's The Food Defect Action Levels booklet.[SUP][59][/SUP] Contamination on the average of less than 150 insect fragments per 100 grams of wheat flour poses no health hazard.

Oh STFU! Ingesting a few milligram here and there cause it happened to contaminate your food is a far cry from putting it in there for purposeful amounts.

The amount is so few, it's not even enough to get enough B12. To put it in perspective, a grain of rice worth of B12 is more than your body uses in a lifetime.
