Induction Lights? The newest (supposedly) technology in Induction Grow Lights

I have sent both companies a request that I be allowed to borrow one of their lights for 90 days at which time I would return them. I'll completely journal the grows so everyone can see the results. I'll let you know what they say.

Growing trees is extremely inefficient. You have a lot of the bud not in the prime area for light quality.

GPW is a perfect method for measuring efficiency of lights. How many grams of quality bud you can yield per amount of energy is probably actually the best way of measuring efficiency.

Growing using LED takes different skills than just letting the plants get big, it takes training to keep them in the prime area for light quality. Your argument for large plants is just silly in that way. You like growing one big donkey dick cola, I prefer growing 20-30 tops. To each his own.

Don't bash LED just because it doesn't conform to your growing style, that's lame.
blah blah blah...Too many other factors to the grow to merit it is due to the lights. Your statement of keeping them small to stay in the good light zone proves their inadequacy especially in penetration

I top for four mains and with the setup and co2 I grow tress in 4-5 months and they are not one cola but 4 mains with lotsa decent buds everywhere else as well...this was the only one small enough for me to move to photograph...it was over 3ft height not counting the containerand this was at week 3 flower...I am not bashing I said it does NOT outperform hid...you wanna do all that work go for it...big plants in time I have learned are for the most part usually more potent proven not only through my perception of the high but the lab results as well. Bear in mind as well that I had a relay malfunction and the ac surge protector cut power but the temp relay didnt shutdown the lights so it baked at 140F and 98% rh for over 13 hours...yep but they still produced well and potent but the taste and aroma sucked due to the cooking also forced an early harvest...but it is all hemp oil and bho now so all is well. That is a positronics Claustrum. I rarely photograph my plants but did these to record the high heat effects for future reference. If you look back at the photos of the low climate room you will see there is a 400 watt in a cooltube below the canopy and t5's in the corners so ALL of the plant gets adequate light not just the top so why do all that training and work to have smaller less yielding and less potent plants?

You have to work for AREA 51 or because you invested so much money in them that you need to justify it to yourself...I will give you that the buds you have shown are pretty and well grown, but again Puny

You are the PUNY GOD

See that's not even that big... lol I've grown LED plants bigger than that.

I will yield more than that, on a plant that takes up less space.

Ok ..whatever you say buckwheat...you have shown no plants even 1/3 that size...did you miss that it was 3 weeks flower with at least 7 more weeks to go? And you are ill conceived at stating you will out yield it

BTW you do grow pretty plants and are a good grower dude...but leds do not outperform hid yet...although in the coming years they may

I don't usually don't veg for longer than 3 weeks. I could grow giant plants, but then I'd have to grow less variety.

Very uppy but no nervousness. Trippy but not paranoia inducing. Really nice just not as trippy as I like.Personally I have never had mj make me nervous and or paranoid. But everytime I read or hear someone say that it is the high I seek. Am in a love affair with c99 as it is very trippy, tastes great and joy to grow. The Claustrum is a great yielder and nute hog as well.
The guy I got my Cinex from doesnt have clones of it any more, he said that the C99 would be a nice plant to grow. Think I will get one from him next week.

I`d love to see 250 to 280w draw of HID lights out penetrate the Van Q`s

As soon as they get a led chip up over about 200w that can be used I`m getting between 3 and 6 of them and totally finishing off HID`s might still run the induction with them

I`m guessing it will be something like 1 to 4 years till they`ll be affordable still can`t wait to see if they make a grow light using a 1000w led I mean I can buy the chip for some stupid price but I could not afford the cooling gear for that chip

Plus in my tent at home I simply don`t have the head room to run a light with that much penetration the 70w chips in the Van q`s are me kind of pushing it with the shelf in there if it gets too hot for hydro in the summer I might drop the shelf out and run 6 to 8 plants in 30L sacks of soil I`ll leave the led`s right up the top should manage some 4ft plants then shame because I have a 10ft ceilings it`s a shame I can`t find a tent that`s 1.2m by 0.80m and 2.5 or 2.8m high cos then I could fit in a bigger veg area and expand the flowering area or I could have 2 flowering area`s that would kick ass but then I`d have way too much weed. lol

iGrow sent me some kind of training manual on their lights. I still haven't heard on whether they'll give me a light to demo. At least they explain the bracket design now and show the spectrums for both the veg and bloom lamps. It looks like the lamps change out pretty easy but I'd like to see it being done with the light hanging over the plants upside down instead of like how they show it being done in the video.
