Haha, no worries, wasn't lookin for input, just complaining. :D I'm alright, it's getting better... I think I pulled something but I don't know how. Just lying in bed for the day probably... got my laptop though, lol.

Still researching cement mixers... I can't find ANY hand cranked ones... lol. Too old school I guess, lol. http://www.harborfreight.com/3-1-2-half-cubic-ft-cement-mixer-67536.html This is the best thing I can find, 3.5 cu ft... not too bad. Maybe I'll buy one someday if I can't figure a way to build a hand crank version...

Edit: Ooo, this might work: http://www.amazon.com/Achla-CMP-01-Plastic-Tumbling-Compost/dp/B000FJTYDA/ref=sr_1_4?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1359556252&sr=1-4&keywords=compost+mixer\

Wonder how well it mixes.

Found this one too: http://envirocycle.com/us/original/techspecs

Too bad they're all so expensive, lol. Hard to justify dropping that much just to avoid hand mixing... but I don't really have a good method for hand mixing as is... maybe I can just buy a kiddie pool and a shovel in the spring, lol.

yes build one from a 55gal drum, i think what you need is a compost tumbler, which is essentially a possible concrete mixer if needed

Yeah you got it mang... I think I will build something that mimics a compost tumbler eventually. I just am not sure if just tumbling a 55 gal drum end over end is enough to mix thoroughly... wondering if I need to engineer some sort of displacement fins inside...

displacement fines.....yeah.... thier called rocks. you can find em in about any river in the US. lol and there and tons of versions of compost tumblers doesnt have to be a 55gal drum you could use somthing smaller like a trash can. but there are a bunch of diy videos on it, but let me say this, i mix my dirt by hand on a big ass tarp. i know i do a good job, but i know for the sure tumbler will do better especially if you throw a couple big rocks in there.

lol. good morning glockdoc, and simmer down he was only joking, giggles probably spends 2x as much time on the site at you lol. if anyone will be here every day its giggles.:D or me, or about a thousand other fools who are extremely bored and want to talk just about growing.

LOL... yeah simmer down there chief ;)

I think we were collectively poking fun at you because you came in with a telltale "i didn't read the thread post" by asking for results before the grow was done. :P Take it lightly, we are a fun loving group.

Cool, rocks for tumblers, great idea! I didn't think of that! Thanks man. Way easier than trying to engineer fins and attach them to the inside.

You are most welcome my good sir, come around every day if you wish! haha. I love subscribers, makes me feel like a popular kid. I never was one of those. ;)

Just keep that safety on before I shit my pants ;)

lmao the safety is back on ever since polyarcturus aka the negotiator talked some sense into me. but yea thats one hell of a set up, my settings on riu are 40 post a page and i only see u have 17 pages so i thought u had a harvest or 2 by now.. u thinking of running a sog at any point?? i ask because i think that set up of urs has some serious potential.

Nah we just talk way too much LOL. 68 pages on my view settings, LOL. We just been chillin, talkin while we wait for our buds :)

Yeah I want to try SOG in the future. I did monster crop a bunch of clones from this batch that were supposed to be mothers for a future sog, but I don't think they're going to make it. Either because I monster cropped and thye don't want to revert, or because I didn't bleach-clean my new cloner before using it. (I read on here somewhere that you gotta run bleach and water through th system first to get it super clean before first use.)

Anyway I'm gonna keep cloning... planning to mainline these raspberry cough seedlings when the time comes, and I will grab a couple clones off the bottom branches per the instructions on the mainlining thread on this site. I will definitely be trying a SOG as soon as I get a healthy heavy-branching mother ready for providing clones.

Was gonna scrog but I am strongly considering going straight mainlining with these rasp. coughs seedlings I got, instead of the scrogs I was planning. Simply because mainlining is fucking awesome, and I happen to have a bunch of tomato cages on hand that I can chop up into individual supports real easily. (Or I'll still scrog--gonna practice the mainlining technique either way as it's a great way to ensure even bud development on multi-cola plants.)

I also have some new seeds on the way, C99 fems. Mainlining should give me enough space to run both side by side, I think. 3 on each side of the fixture. We'll see what happens though, those seeds have not even arrived yet, haha. Don't want to end up with too uneven a height between the two strains. We'll see how training goes with the coughs and go from there...

The good thing about having my back out: being waited on, lol. I complain a lot about co-dependence in my life, but today I am loving it, LOL.

Hey man, thanks a lot, I appreciate that. :) And you're welcome... it's a hackneyed solution but it works pretty good! And the plywood door reduces fan noise bleed a lot.

As far as buds go, (since I got you guys ducking in for the finish, haha) I am expecting to harvest three plants (two jackberries and the herijuana plant) sometime next week, if I had to guess. One jackberry is lagging a little behind the others, so that will probably be harvested about a week later... then I'm expecting another week or two for the kolossi and the one anesthesia.

Also, I should say, if the yields are not as impressive as y'all are hoping for, please recognize that this is MORE THAN LIKELY due to human error on my part with feed and ph management and shit. More than likely my yield suffered a bit. But don't take it as a reflection of the potential of the light setup. I'm fairly sure this light setup can yield amazing amounts of bud. (It's nearly 1000w in a 4x3' space.) I just have to get better at caring for plants.

good plans. maybe even try a good amount of 12/12 from seed type sog. u never know, u could pull half z to oz plants each one.
did i mention i got some jackberry going? i have c-99 on a to get list. that and sssdh and any chem lineage. i got a fem sour cream bean i need to do something with; as well as some reg beans of chemd x ahloha white widow x the white, monkey balls, and g13xhp

Yeah man, I have been considering sog from seed, I have a fuck load of bag seed. It would be an interesting experiment. I just gotta wait til I have the space for it, lol. I am planning to pull one 4-bulb and set up a separate veg. area as soon as my seedlings are big enough to warrant it... perhaps when i do that I will also start some 12/12-from-seeders... give them a week of veg to get going and then pop them into the extra space that will be created in my main space when I harvest the first few plants. :) It'll be a juggling game after that, but I like maximizing space-usage, and that would do it.

Thanks for the inspiration, I like that idea! I will probly do just that. Since they'll be "competing" with really tall plants in the flower room, and I need as much footprint as I can get under the veg light, I'm picturing some extra-tall containers of some sort... maybe beer cans or something, people seem to have a lot of luck with those. I'm thinking like two taped together or something though... extra-extra tall... then I can tape them all together for stability. This way I can still get a lot of soil availability without worrying too much about loss of footprint space with bigger pots. (I'd have to put them on a table anyway, since the flowering light is like 2.5' high... so this would just mean a shorter table and more soil per sq.ft.)

hell yea man...if i had that cab my goal would be to maximize the use of space to maximize yield. this 1st run look at it as almost minimums (dial in) run. even thou uve had some veg time and shit on this one its hard to call it a minimum but imo its easier to pull larger yields with strength in numbers..
have u ever checked out the 12-12 from seed thread? most of the time if kept in 20 or 16 oz cups the plants tend to grow as 1 solid bud, and im pretty sure ive seen 14 gram dried plants with less of a set up then u have. just some food for thought..yea its strain dependent and lots of other variables but it gives u an idea of ur potential.
