So I have been hearing an urban legend that there is some new light that some folks are using out on the W coast that doubles or even triples the yield you get with a standard 1000w hps. The most I have personally ever gotten per light is close to 1 and a half pounds, but to be able to double or triple that just by using a different light sounds like science fiction to me. can anyone confirm or disprove this and if it's confirmed please include the name or brand name of the lamp.

My 1000 k watt is 125k lumens. There is a 150k lumen 1000 watt lamp available. Sound like some industry hype to get people's money.

Errrrr, this is news to me and I live in Cali. You might be thinking of LED lighting. Which uses less energy and produces less heat. Some LED companies try and argue that a 90 watt LED light is the same as a 1,000 watt HID light which is complete bullshit. Also LED lights are insanely expensive.

Can you root clones in 12/12 with indirect lighting?
wouldnt be recommended, what is your veg and bloom cycle gonna be then?

technically weed will still grow no matter how fucked up you make the light cycle, it will get stuck inbetween veg and bloom and grow very weird...
i have found you can "reveg" any plant out there. all you have to do is put it in the dark for 24hours then back into 24/7 light. you can even put fully flowered plants back into veg as long as you leave a few nodes on the bottom of the plant after you harvest.
