Mass shootings, what do they have in common?

I am going to go conspiracy theory here...

The government knows they are financially fucked. They have no intention on stopping the spending and/or slide into a currency crash of unparalleled size.

The people out there that have been duped and handed a check for so long will have no recourse once the checks stop showing up. And they are not going to go after the 1%, they are going to go after the very government offices that once provided their dole.

Therefore, the government needs to remove as many weapons as possible from society before the riots begin..
that, and your favorite polling source, the only accurate one, has romney up by 5-7 still.

you are such a fucking moron. it hurts.

You are an impotent tool in a loveless parasitic marriage taking it out on the internet. I wouldnt do anything more to you than you have done to yourself...

Assault rifle definition is pretty simple

Any rifle that was designed with the purpose of killing another human being
An assault rifle is a short (carbine-length) military long arm with a select-fire provision. "Assault weapon" is a term without a definition because it was quite likely made up by bored journalists. cn

What isn't expected and isn't acceptable is a gunman with fairly easy access to guns and ammo can go into a classroom, shopping mall, movie theater or campus and be able to unload mass amounts of bullets in a matter of minutes.

why go to a mall or any of those places you just mentioned? What makes those places ideal for shooters to shoot people at?

I don't think the mass shootings of the 60s and 70s had that feature. I counsel against trying to find a uniform feature to blame for these things; that would make the guns, yes side as guilty of trying to find guns innocent or even irrelevant ... as the opponents who want to pin the blame on the gun.
Most importantly, it perpetuates the fundamental American delusion that there is always a fix. It goes hand in hand with the wish/demand that life itself be safed. And that is where we fail. Jmo. cn

Dallas watch tower, methamphetamine (Prescribed) + barbituates. Wouldn't surprise me to learn other shootings had old school psychological drugs involved either, but this kind of stuff is hard to dig up.

it only takes a second to tackle someone who is trying to change a clip.
Yeah, why didnt a 6 year old just jump up and take out the Connecticut shooter...

If all these athletic people are around just waiting to take out shooters in 1 second, why dont we hear more stories in the media? Oh wait....

that's what happened in the loughner massacre.

except he fired 33 bullets instead of 10 before reloading. but that is when he was stopped.

And making a large clip illegal will stop that from happening because a person in the middle of committing mass murder is never going to dream of breaking any other laws.

Hey, I have an idea. Let's make Marijuana illegal. That way nobody will grow it or smoke it.... Oh wait...

the only thing you are doing is preventing LEGAL gun owners from having this stuff. You are giving away freedom for some sort of perceived safety. You prefer to be a victim and a dependent rather than a man. We get it.

Makes you wonder why the US Gov stocked up on something like 2 billion rounds of bullets and
many were hollow point.

They never did give a good enough reason why they bought that much. Actually it was such a
foolish explanation.

Are they expecting something that they have a hand in creating down the road....things that make you go Hmmmm

Another thing..the 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with hunting ..it's about protection from the goverment
and you need the same type of modern weapons that todays goverments have in order to protect your rights from
a tyranical gov if ever needed .

China then has the nerve to make a statement and say
we shouldn't own guns at all while they are building aircraft carriers and warships. Screw them.

Remember what this Admiral said...

Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto once said during the World War 2, "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass."
