Terrible idea. Never grow in your parents house unless they are ok with it. IF I caught my kid growing without my permission it's the door for them.

Me personaly, to avoid a big fight between you & your mother, I would just do a grow outdoors bro! Hell, it really isn't hard! Wasn't 4 me. I would take 5gln bckts, fill them with my mixed soil, then get me a rope, find me a tree with "lower" hanging branches, tie the rope to the bucket handle, through the other end of rope over the branch you select, pull it up in the tree! ;) there you have it! They would always get enough light. They would get plenty of h2o. And I didn't have to worry about animals eating them, or theives snacthing them!! Just don't 4 get to drill drain holes in the bottom of the buckets! ;) they'll do just fine! ;) good luck bro..
say the pigs find my stash in the forest can i get in trouble for it?

Parents who would kick their kids out for growing weed or smoking it in their home ONLY because they didn't tell you about it, are no better than the governments that put people in jail for it.

You can all quote me on that!

If I'm living somewhere it's legal, who really gives a fuck. It's exactly like fermenting some beer in the home and not saying anything. Seriously! Would you kick your kid out for that?
If it's illegal and I don't want them doing it, I'd take their shit and explain that I'M the one at risk and not them as I wouldn't let my kid go to jail for pot. I'd also explain that if they wanted to do that and I was against it, they can wait until they move out. With follow up bedroom inspections.
If they got busted, I'd take the wrap for my kid in the situation and they'd have to live with that- Meaning: If I did right as a parent and my kid wasn't mentally insane, their guilt would be far enough punishment to me.

Only if they can tie you to it. Like shoe prints, fingerprints (left on containers and bags of ferts), cig butts for dna, and eye witnesses (narcs or "informants").

Therefore: where bags over your shoes, DO NOT smoke ANYTHING or chew gum around you plants, DO NOT dump garbage near your grow site, DO NOT tell anyone about it or where it is, and use many different paths to go to you area, and DO NOT visit often. (once a week can sometimes be too often, depending on amount of eye witnesses present)

You will get caught by her. Smell will get you eventually. A parent should always stand by their kid. But if you are not in a position to be honest with your parent, then IMHO it is really disrespectful to grow in her home. And if you risk being thrown out, thus over 18, find a way to move out and grow in your own pad. Or find a friend to let you grow at their place.

Ya tape can work and winter mitts with a beanie can work too. Just act like your going for a jog or something. But I'm telling you now, out door is no walk in the park my friend. Very hard work.

But yes I do agree that growing without consent of your parent in their home is disrespectful. But as you can see, people have very varying opinions on how to deal with it.
If your mom is the sort to give you the boot then don't do it.

Well... you make those three things sound simpler than they actually are, because those three (depending on location) can be the biggest bitches of them all. lol
Mostly though:
-Finding the right location (for light, water, and secrecy)
-Keeping it secret
-Digging the holes
-Proper patterns (so they are harder to detect by heli, depending on size of crop)
-Herbivore animals like deer eating your buds
-Bugs eating your plants
-Bud rot

Oh and keep them OFF THE PROPERTY. You can only use plausible dependability to a certain extent.

Furthermore, outdoor plants are RARELY begun out doors, so that means transporting as well and transplanting juvenile plants about .5-3 feet tall in your location out doors.
Which (if you can't tell) Means you need to begin them indoors somewhere either from seed or more popularly by clone.
I don't know about where you are, but I know some people here that sell clones for 5$ each that are ready for transplanting.

Why are you helping a stupid kid, Who I'm sure isn't 18 yet and by right shouldn't be on this forum grow a plant at his parents house without their permission?

I was growing outdoors at almost 15 yrs ago when I was 16-18. I don't want to be a hypocrite.
And if my kid wanted to grow weed in my house, I'd help him and make damn sure he knows all there is to know about it and how to be responsible about it.
I'm an in no way condoning him doing it in his parents home. That's why.
As far as I'm concerned, if he is posting on this site, he is at least 18. Many families like that their "kids" stay at home past the age of 18 anyway. So stop assuming shit about people you don't know.
If YOU'RE not comfortable giving info to EVERYONE like I am, then just, don't.
And don't berate others for passing around FREE information that EVERYONE has a right to know.
Thank you.

i'm sorry i'm not a weed expert, if i was i wouldn't have came here and i was just wondering other peoples opinions...

well i'm going to be growing pretty small plants that yield 200 grams each (2-3 feet tall) i really only want 2-3 plants.
and do i have to transplant them? i was thinking i would put them in pots, tie the pots hanging from trees so no dear would get them.
is 3 plants of this size really that detectable by helicopters?
i also live by a big river that has some nice fresh water from the mountains could i use that to water?
as for bugs in my bud i will buy a spray i dont know what kind yet and spray them, and bud rot i dont know much about.

You'd be surprised what you can see with the naked eye from a helicopter.
You can easily point out a Styrofoam cup from 500 feet in a place that it is not supposed to be for instance. You will need to find a clearing with exposure to the east and west for sun, so hanging your plants in trees.... Not a good idea IMO. Heard of that thought before but never heard of it actually being put into practice. Need to weigh your possible gain vs loss...
But three plants is not a problem by helicopters. Three plants are very easy to hide out doors.

River water is fine as long as there is no dumping going on in it.

The main bug you should worry about outside are slugs - for the deer, they have repellant in the form of pellets or wolf piss at hunting goods stores. The piss is good though as it works for many herbivores that may be attracted to your plants other than just the deer.

You won't have to worry anout animals eating ypur crop if there tied up in treesz1 or people spotting them!
Worked for me for years. And it wasn't all that hard either! I would mix up a soil that had enough nutes in it to last the grow, and when it came to watering it. I would let mother nature take care of that. Unless it went through a drought or some shit, you should be fine. And also insects wasn't a real big issue up in the trees either. Didn't have to mess with finding a spot, then clearing it, then preparing the soil, and so on! Do it the easy wya nro! Tree um. ;) it 4 real wroks..

Bro look. I know a lot of things are said on here! And don't get me wrong its a great site to learn a lot & meet some cool fellow growers! But I KNOW 4 a fact it works!! Trust me on this one! ;) why make it harder then what it has to be for yourself? Kiss... keep it simple stupid! Not directed at you. Just a rule of thumb/saying.

Anyways, like some, I started growing ganja when I was in my early teens. I have been growing now over 15+ years. Most of which was outdoors! I'm not at all saying I know it all,by far! I find myself learning new grow techniques everyday! But I've also seen a lot, done a lot, & at 1st growing wasn't so easy, & you could say I messed up a few grows! ;) hey. It happens bro at 1st. You'll get the hang of it though, and know exactly what needs to be done & when it needs to be done! When I say I grew my ganja hung in lower branches of trees, I didn't take them "deep" in the woods where "people" normally "would" grow, also near or around,or in fields! Big no,no! You want cover, but not a lot. Hence, "plant needs light" to survive. I would go to the woods, "edge" of woods, a few feet or so in, where it isn't dense with heavy cover, to where you still get sunlight on the ground, you know. That's where I would take um! And at times If it was "too" dense with cover, I would take my tree climbing gear & take out a few branches in the trees canopy so the sun can come through more. But for the most part I wouldn't have to do that. I would NEVER have a problem with animals eating my crop, it wasn't easily spotted, I let nature "water it", unless we went through say a week without rain, then I would water. Like said, do what you want bro, but I just thought I would offer you a technique that I used, that WORKS & worked for me well!! Hope that shades some "light" on the subject alittle more for ya.. ;) later bro.. Dank.
