^ I suspect the High Times guys like the Lemon haze flavor because they're familiar with it. Don't be afraid to enter the plant you like best. Sometimes new strain pheno's shock people especially if it's something new. Go with your heart, you know what's best to you. At least enter baby poo as well if it's what you like best. I'm never showing or breeding what I think someone else likes, that's for sure.
 
I love my baby shit pheno, the hash that comes from it smells amazing!

Like a kid ate WAY too many peaches and had a hay day in the diaper. Plus some chocolate flavoring in there, rofl.

That sound so gross, lol. Lets just call it indescribable.
 
You laugh, but once you move past the peaches baby shit you long for the days of peaches and sweet potato shit.

I don't mind the baby poo apollo at all, but i want to focus on finding keeper phenos of the best smelling tga strains soon... i really miss ace of spades and need her back in my life...
 
i just had a friend over smoking Geeks Vortex, and she took one sniff of the jar, and she said "whoa"...that smells just like baby poop!....she had no pre-conceptions at all, and had no idea that was how it was meant to smell!....crazy.....i smelled many a diaper raising 2 of my own, and i can't quite seem to peg it....but there is no doubt its in there.....it will probably hit me the next time i am changing a diaper (god forbid)....and i will be like...whoa, this babies shit smells just like Vortex!....lol...
 
In episode 108 Sub mentioned a thread on RIU, Anyone know where it is? he said it was "TC's" thread.... but i don't see anything

That shit is funny. I will check on which thread Sub was talking about, Bandit. I saw in one of the old Weed Nerds where Sub is talking about having a Genius. Tragically, some asshole killed that plant and we are left with Genius' offspring: Apollo 13 (Genius X P75).

I am interested in trying A-13 side-by-side with Space Queen (her being Rom X C99). These are all 4 really old Elite strains and it is cool to have plants that are only a few generations away from those Infamous strains.

Anyone know how close (some phenos) SQ is to Rom, or A-13 is to Genius?

Thanks alot jake. his weednerd episode sealed the deal on getting TGA genetics. although i feel like it limits the amount of chances i get at finding a good phenotype, the seeds only being regular and non-feminised but i understand he has an opinion on fem seeds.... Not sure if there is a reason behind it.

genetic disposition to herm, and a lack of greed is why sub doesnt sell fem seeds. but tbh fem seeds would be the ones limiting you to finding a keeper pheno, as they are genetically bottlenecked by the one parent, again also breeding in a tendency to herm.

"TGA Genetics are unable to produce Femenized seeds at this time, please check back when Sub sells out."

I haven't found a pure genius pheno of A13 yet but I've only grown one pack. I'd guess if you ran enough packs you would probably find a pretty close pheno. It's still surprising to me the difference between Apollo 13 and Apollo 11.
 
no offense to DNA, but i was very dissatisfied with their feminized og kush. it didnt remind me og at all, but even if was some other bud but still dank i would have been satisfied. but it barely had any resin, tasted like crap and took forever to finish. not to mention it barely got me high. i had 2 different phenotypes and was displeased with both. i know those guys have good genetics, chocolope and LA con are 2 of my favs from them, but i think i will leave the clone only reversed feminized varieties alone forever. i got 4 more of those reserva privada OG kush beans but dont even wanna pop em, not when i have 13 more AOS beans, another 5 pack of querkle, 7 ripped bubba, 3 timewreck and 3 qush!!!! thinking of trying some rare dankness after i run some JTR, Jack skelli, JillyBean, space Bomb, chernobyl, and plushberry.

You won't be disappointed with the TGA. I grew out the reserve privada og kush (same company as DNA in case you didn't know) and didn't like it at all either... horrible smell. The lighter smokers seemed to really like it but I found it to be a very boring/mild indica. That could be because I had grow issues with it from day 1... didn't with my other plants, just that one. Have heard good things about the OG #18 of theirs.

Pop those TGA... AoS is my new fave and i'm getting ready to pop 15 timewrecks :)
 
My compliments to the chef Pat Travers, lol, my Apollo BX is showing very good vigor and growth which is a testament to using only true males and females for breeding. It's Amazing how similar it is to what I've been working with but that should probably be expected to a degree seeing as how my hybrid contains half Cindy 99.25. Good job Sub.
 
Feminized seed huh?

Well, I certainly can't say I'm an expert on feminized seeds, or automatics either for that matter.

But the feminized Blue Hash, I got from Dinafem was some of the best pot I've smoked from another breeder. I just harvested Dinafem feminized, Shark Attack. It has a similar good smell like the Blue hash had. I'm willing to bet it's pretty good too, I'll be puffing some in a few days so I'll know for sure.

My honest opinion, I don't know how feminized females are really going to be much different then regular females. Other then there might be some higher chance of herms depending on how the seed was made.

As for automatics, I can't really see smoking what's available myself. But there seems to be a lot of people that want something that will actually finish outdoors in north america like it should.

I say "finish like it should", because the farther you get away from the ideal indoor 75 degree flowering temp. the more your bud is going to be off. And all these longer strains are getting that cold air they don't like to some degree. Causing that shwag effect on your weed. The only way to avoid that is to harvest early in most cases. (also note wide swings in temp. variation, like going from 55 night temps up to 90 degrees in the day is a 35 degree daily swing in temps)
