My buddy was imprisoned for 3 months just for crashing into a military hummer that was parked half on the road and half off the road.

even if they find an empty shell casing, they will fuck you over.

its funny how the mexican government goes after these simple errors, yet avoids going after the cartel people even though they know who they are

Nope, he'e just one of the dumb ones. We aren't even allowed to go to mexico on active duty, unless we have family. The emphasize that if you do go to mexico, bring nothing military related with you; they told us how strict their laws were. Dude was just "that guy".

True, but wouldnt most americans imprisoned there be victims as well?

i think mexico is going to screw this guy and make an example of it, cause all they do is complain how usa persecutes illegal mexicans in the usa.

Because being able to paint someone as a valiant combat vet who is the victim sells more papers.

Shotguns are considered military grade weapon in mexico and on top of tat, they guy hid it in one of his bags.

Im pretty sure he got checked by military and those guys are no fucking joke especially if you dont speak spanish.

He had a double barreled shotgun (As of the last news report I saw.), on his way to another country to visit his uncle. Mexican law actually allows for a number of guns to be owned by it's private citizens, this guy was probably just a victim of not checking his facts.

A lot of them work for the cartels. Can't bite the hand that feeds you.

They may very well be victims. This guy is a decorated vet though, makes it easier to tug the heart strings. After all, if you don't support the troops, you're a terrorist.

Hey dipshit, I'm a blonde haired, blue eyed (German descent) 5th generation US citizen, and a combat veteran of the US army, so keep your idiotic racial bull shit to yourself. I am very qualified to call myself an American. Make an argument having to do with the politics on either side (or both) of the border.
How do you make a living down there? You can't work, legally. Being a combat veteran, why aren't you in jail down there?

Extremely disrespectful. Reported both. I don't have to disclose such info and while it was innocent for it to have been deduced, it is purely a matter of harassment that it would be discussed.

it really is all explained in his general description: Marine

Muscles
Are
Required
Intelligence
Not
Expected.

if he had been army, he would have checked the local laws, paid his bribes with a personal check and been in guatemala before the federales realized the check was gonna bounce
if he had been navy he would have simply sailed around mexico and avoided the whole issue
if he were airforce, he would have hidden the shotgun in his HUGE GAPING VAGINA and nobody would have been any the wiser.
sadly he was a marine, most likely thought the rules only applied to firearms which had not been properly cleaned and maintained.
As a former Marine, I approve.

Marines. they look like soldiers talk like sailors, and slap the shit outta both of them.

I work as an engineer.

So, you are drawing some sort of disability retirement and whiling away your hours cursing the American tax payers who make your Che lifestyle possible. Got it.
So you can't argue logically and resort to ad hominem.

The taxpayers wasted more money sending guys like me to war than it does supporting us.

There, you happy? I'm a disabled veteran. I preferred to keep my privacy, I don't need pity in order to give my logic any soundness. Since you must know, I went to war for freedom, including the freedom to express my views, but I don't recall cursing anyone for paying taxes.

Sux to be you. When I was in the Corps we went to TJ all the damn time, got weapons there real cheap and brought them back stateside. Hell, the reason why the bases had a 18 year old drinking age was because otherwise all the military would be going to Mexico to party. IF in Mexico and you have any problems, money talks. You can get out of all sorts of problems with a bit of cash. You want to avoid general population prison at all costs so it does no good to stand on principal when you are the foreigner. Even if you did not commit the crime of which the policia accuse you, a benjamin or two can probably prove your innocence.
