Hey are you guys down for the Springs? I've got some serious connects there and all my family is there and they would be willing to help out a lot. Also if we go there I can find us jobs a lot easier as I've got plugs with dispensaries all over the springs and it's only like an hr drive into to Denver.

I think I might have some land that my family might let me use or maybe some of their rentals. I've got to do some research but if we take it down to the Springs I can help out a lot.

yeah im down... shit you know what we all ought to just come to denver to meet up. then drive over to springs and talk to people and what not for a few days see about jobs, places to stay ect. if i remember correctly the springs is a big tourist spot any ways right? (my girls a massage therapist, if she has a better chance of a job or a good place to start business that would be even better!)

I got friends in boulder but I hear CO SPrings is nice too! I wanna live just outside Boulder ideally, but would consider other options for sure.

Yes and there are lots and lots of therapist jobs there. I know this because some of my cousins do it there lol. I'm down for meeting up and getting shit figured out. Also get a great view of the rockies :D

the great thing about more breeders i we only release our more refined strains, but still have plenty more unreleased genetics to work with and release later, keeps us from acting as one breeder and having to release all our gear at once.

haha... died down a little in here... I'm impressed with how well this thread's been doing, LOL. Not that it has much to do with my grow, HAHAHA :D

But yeah, shit's been a little crazy at home, been having some relationship drama and such. Doesn't help when I'm out, I'm sort of bi-polar and the weed levels me out. I don't get quite as big "happy spikes" but I also don't drop into the dregs of depression, so it's a good evener for me. I do miss the happy spikes though, so I take a break so I can get a good taste now and then... so the timing's alright, it's good for me to take a break before the holiday anyway, gets me grounded and more thankful and grateful for extended family, who might otherwise bug the shit out of me if I didn't have the tempering effect of swinging wildly up and down all over the place first... LOL. After the shit I've gone through over the last week just in my own head and home, I could probably handle Christmas dinner with anyone... even the in-laws. LoL.

But yeah. Where I'm at is, I'm waitin on that pH tester, and the plants look pretty good despite the issues. Getting some height from the stretch. STarting to see more hairs. Gonna slap on those nets soon. The nets are really for support, rather than a traditional scrog where it's more about canopy control/evening. I just want to make sure the buds don't start leaning into them sidelights.

I'll grab some new pics tomorrow if all goes well.

Bro I know exactly how you feel. Im bipolar myself and when I don't smoke things start to go a little crazy around this house hold lol.

Weed evens me out and makes me feel normal, hence why I am a firm believer in mmj. If it wasn't for mj I probably would of ended up killing someone a long time ago ha.

Oh hey so are you guys ready for the end of the world? Ha we only got 4 days left to live so we better get on our company! :)

you guys take ANY kind of medication for bi-polar? Have you noticed that not smoking makes you have rage issue's or emotional or whatever people call attitude spikes? Manstrations? I have adult adhd and the va were trying to get me to take concerta? did some research found out its like amphetamine! So obviously i refuse to take it(they dont know cough), that and there's no doubt in my mind that cannabis can and does clam my nerves and sense's i just wonder if were screwing ourselves if not having our medicine(cannabis not western meds) can cuase the symptoms to occur more pronounced? There's no doubt that without help this problem can lead to violence. It's nice to know others deal with the same bullshit i do.

I absolutely do have recoil effects from coming off regular usage, yes, but that is because usually it's impossible for me to 'taper down' because the breaks are not choices but rather just situations where I don't have any on hand, so I go cold turkey. Try going cold turkey off one of those amphetamine pharmas! Oh BOY talk about trouble. You think coming off the weed is bad, lol.

I stay away from the pharma solutions, don't trust them, never have. I like who I am when I'm tokin'... that works for me. It is hard when I come off, but that's because I've conditioned myself to expect it and then yanked it out.

I usually can recalibrate pretty well given some time, but I still have unpredictable crashes when something goes weird or wrong in certain ways that catch me off guard.

For me, the best solution is to use MJ when I need to as a medicine... but, since I'm a recreational user and enjoy the effects, there is a double edged sword in play and I sometimes cut myself by using too much.

But shit, put me on an amphetamine based pharma and you can bet the same thing would probably happen, LOL. Speed is addictive as fuuuuck for me. I have an addictive personality. I recognized that a long time ago. I used to drink Dr. Pepper by the case, and started to get really bad headaches from caffeine eventually, which I started treating with Excedrin Migraine (!!! which is also full of caffeine!!) and it only spiraled out from there... eventually I cut out all caffeine for years and fixed myself up. But i still have an addictive personality. I've learned to accept that and work with it. It's actually a CHOICE for me to be "addicted" to recreational use MJ, because I see it as a much better option than some of the nastier things I could be addicted to, like alcohol (runs in the family) caffeine (seems to run in the whole nation, lol) or worse, something harder that I might find my way into if I didn't just say "Chill, self, smoke a joint and you're cool."

It works for me. I am working with a lot of weird shit in my persona, haha. PTSD from a bad accident when I was a teen, plus alcoholism/addiction problems in pretty much everyone in one side of my family (dad's side)... all of which were probably also bi-polar or similar but didn't know it. Grampa on dad's side was an alcoholic and a physical abuser of his kids. There's a lot of baggage passed down.

I choose to work with and acknowledge addiction in my life, as a general rule. I believe that ALL people have some forms of addictions, and it's just a matter of calibrating yourself to have GOOD addictions rather than bad ones. I'm working on getting addicted to exercise, but not quite there yet. For now, I accept that it's a lot better to be addicted to cannabis, rather than some nasty shit, especially if I can vaporize it! :)

Also: I have rage issues anyway. It's not "not smoking" that does it, it's family history, watching my dad rage when I was a kid, and imprinting. Learned patterns. I am learning to work with my rage, and I use cannabis (and the breaks from it) to help me work with that and learn how to handle it.

Instead of seeing it as, "I rage when I'm not smoking" i see it as more like, "Rage exists within me, and cannabis helps keep me calm." :) When I take breaks, I work with it directly.

As a medicine... it's like a crutch... not meant to be "a permanent solution" to the rage, but an aid in helping me to deal with and heal it... which is why the breaks inevitably come (the universe will give me what I need when I need it) or I choose to take them pro-actively. The breaks are good for confronting my emotional state more directly, as well as getting back in touch with my dream realm if I am feeling lacking in that department. (I'm planning to stay away from sativas towards bed time because I believe they seriously fuck up my REM cycles...)

In the long run, I hope to not need to use it constantly to numb out for periods. I see these periods of constant use as essentially 'temporarily checking out' from my own emotional awareness, for bane or blessing. Sometimes it is a blessing to get some of the weight off, but other times I burrow my head in and ignore things that need addressing. That's what I'm learning to address so that I stop abusing it and treat it like the medicine that it truly is. I like weed more when I take breaks between sessions. I have insanely deep thoughts that span massive realms of awareness when I smoke after a 4-7 day break. Longer breaks than that and I usually trip BALLS when I smoke. Like, it's too much. Sometimes scares the pants off me. But I like that too, because tripping is a reailty check, and always helps in the long run.

wow, yeah i apologized because i DO NOT wanna be known as a hijacker of threads so i was being cautious. my mothers side is your fathers side and disfucntion dosnt do them justice, plus there oldschool stubborn german catholics! I agree and have to digress i am way overboard with my usage im sure. i kinda hinted to a friend here awhile back that my tolerance is thru the roof and always use the excuse but if i stop ill become instaass! Like you i need to relearn healthy habits i used to hate...4am pt at camp lejuene comes to mind. lol, well to be honest if i could perfect my diet im sure it would help alot too. Ive noticed the older i get the calmer i become in times of stress, when i was younger it was craziness. Vapes are in my immediate future, im afraid of becoming a trichrome slut that cant appreciate flowers lol.

Tolerance is thru the roof because im one of those everyday find an excuse to puff kinda guys lol totally in contrast to what i really wanna do for alot of the same reasons you said in your previous post. Seeing it as dealing with something ive learned over time is WAY easier than trying to term it as a problem that can never get better like i was in my head. So thankyou altar its really nice to see a fresh perspective on this.

Yeah man, I hear you, I ike to puff all day if I can, lol. But the more I do it the more stuff ends up "on my plate" that has to be dealt with when I come back down, so I try to get my breaks in as often as possible to help with that. I've had a lot of luck with setting boundaries like "Smoke after work" or "smoke after dinner" stuff like that can help a lot by providing small breaks that are reasonable in length. It makes it easier to just forget about it and get on with your day, imho. On the other hand, sometimes I wake and bake and do the same thing, get busy and forget about it... BUT, as soon as I see myself slipping into a pattern where I'm wake and baking and not feeling satisfied so I keep toking and don't really DO anything with my day, that is when the warning lights come on.

Very glad to help man, this stuff is a big ball of wax for me and I have been working with it for a long time. I'm not a Christian, but was raised in a Christian environment so I respond well to Christian terminologies when addressing the inner realm, so to speak... and in that vein, I can recommend a good book on addiction that might help, it's called "Addiction and Grace" by Gerald G. May... it helped me get a handle on what was happening with my reality and started to equip me to take responsibility and fully acknowledge my addiction. He works with Christian terminology, but if you're able to take religion with a grain of sand and see how all religions are telling "the same story" one can get a lot out of this book.

Like you said, we've got to cultivate those habits that HELP, like good diet and exercise, those are of paramount importance. Everything works out SO MUCH better for me if I eat a good break fast and exercise before I even think about smoking. And if I MUST smoke first, I tell myself it's just to get going, and get right to the important stuff right away rather than sit around watching cartoons or whatever like I sometimes will when I'm not being honest with myself!

Hope that helps some more... feel free to stick around and talk about it here, I don't consider it thread hijacking, we are already all over the place on subject matter in here. This has become "AltarNation's Hangout" rather than my grow thread, LOL. It's still my grow journal too though, haha.

And on that note, I have snapped a couple shots so y'all can see how tall these babies got... gotta run to the hardware store for a few supplies to hang my new duct muffler in a few, will put them up when I get back. :)
