who told you to add lime at every watering?...lime works instantly and CONTINUES over time to raise your soils Ph....a very alkaline medium is just as bad as acidic.....also Cal/mag toxicity will lock out some major mobile elements....which is what were seeing.....never add anything unless you know your ph,a meter is also necessary in soil; it's just used less a poly stated.

don't like the meter your buying either....the probes to short, need to hit the root zone or are you planning on digging up samples

Chocolope, purple wreck, purple haze and hawaiin bagseed just moved into flower. Glad i had kept a clone of the wreck. It's turned out to be a keeper so far. Not sure what i will do if hawaiin turns out to be male. Was some super frosty shit. Might just use it to breed.

I've been doing my best to live one day at a time. Only thing keeping me going is the urge to finish and taste a crop. Heart ache and depression sucks. Only thing the herb doesn't help with. Oh well, I got a meter on the way and and a week or two left on this grow. Next round I will have a better grasp on it and will be able to monitor better.

Good outlook..............shit, my grows never go smoothly(gnats!)........as long as you get clean/free smoke out of it who cares.
takes some time to dial in this stuff! you have new nutes and regiment, led lighting(this tech doesn't allow much error), pests, cramped grow area, etc....your doing pretty well IMO...

psuagro, if your room is sealed (I dont mean no intake/exhaust, just mean sealed ) dump 100+ ladybugs in and your gnats problem is no long a problem.

Right now I almost hope that I get a few more gnats to help my ladybug colony. (I have had them for 3-4 months now definitely on the decline...) They are impossible to buy in the winter around here...

Thanks for the words of encouragement. It's been really rough. I still love my ex. It's too much sometimes. I have 3 kids $1400 every two weeks in support just so her and the bastard she had the affair with can live comfortably while here i am unable to pay my mortgage, barely making bills and having to sacrifice meals if I want smoke for the week.

I think i figured out what happened to the wreck. I hit her pretty hard over reacting to the gnat outbreak. Dosed soil with a bunch of cinnamon, then DE then BT effectively killing just about anything in the soil. Probably the microbes as well. Either that or the branch that broke is some how killing it. Broken branch is the greenest of them. Perhaps she devoting all her energy to trying to pump energy into that branch. Maybe i will snip it off and test dry it. I should do that to practice before i have the full harvest here VERY soon.

Lemon OG- I may just reveg her after harvest... smells amazing. I really hope it keeps the mango/papaya smell through cure.

Purple wreck- I am having a hard time deciding if I am going to harvest her this weekend or let her go until 9 weeks. The others will probably be harvested under the full moon at 65 days.

What do you guys think? She look close to done? I don't think she's going to produce any new growth the way she's looking and all the hairs are turning or have turned. Ill post a pic Sat or Sun with a poll on whether to chop or not. The clone of her I think has even more heads so can't wait to see how it does. Trics are still clear/cloudy. I prefer a heady high any how.

weeks. i dont know exactly how growth is under LED but i know you got a while still. those hairs look mostly brown from being to close to the lights. i still can see lots of white little new growth hairs. i would say at least 2-3 weeks.

Really? 4 days will be the mark of 8 weeks. I def think skywalker and lemon will go a full 9-10 weeks. Skywalker is touching the lights and the hairs dont look like that. Light same distance over lemon and hairs arent like that either. Ill trim a branch this weekend. One at 9 weeks and rest at fullmoon. Then i can compare and decide how long to run the clone for

lots of strains i have come across like to run 12 weeks. especially anything sat. dom.

the fastest flowering plant i have is a 6-8 week plant, purple, the rest pretty much require the bare minimum of 8 weeks and most of those are indica dom! a lot can play into "harvest time" but by looking at those buds(nice BTW) they still got time left. but once again looks can be misleading i grow under HPS, so i look for different things, but even comparing those to T5 buds i would still say a week or 2.

I dont have any experience with LED and this would be my first.

I am pretty happy with them. I would like to add a third. Most my lower buds are no smaller than the typical buds I get in a can of Med. I'm sure they will look smaller dry but I'm not disappointed. Especially since it's my first grow/harvest coming up. I'm working on an official update here with lots of pics. Just too high to get up and do it atm. Did take those Ph readings.

My older pots after the flushing are reading 6.8 and my new pots that I just moved in that have dolomite mixed with the soil are 6.2 ... sooo yea. Looks like I will still be playing with adjusting for a while. But at least now I can easily and regularly test PH. I love this Kelway probe.

i dont know up to you, leds like anything else can be learned. but its pretty straigh foreward. 3w leds(cree or bridgelux IMO, attach via thermal past or tap and die the bolt holes), heatsink(lots of options here), fan, and some drivers/ballasts to run the LEDS.

Nice, real nice. I upgrayedded from my HSS PPF800 to a Blackstar 240 based upon your PAR comparisons. I've been running it for 2 weeks now and they look lovely. Stuck my HSS as a side light in my christmas tree grow.
