Caregiver/Supplier

I am currently in the process of getting my two year degree here in ny. After that I plan to move to somewhere in California to become a caregiver/supplier. I have a few questions which I have looked up but seem to get mixed answers. As a caregiver how many plants am I allowed to grow? Am I allowed to cultivate both indoors and outdoors? Is there a certain weight limit I am allowed to have? Is there a wattage restriction on the garden? How many patients can A caregiver have?
Any answers will help a ton. thanks

Go to the NORML site and look at the laws in Cali. Every county in Cali has their own laws/guidelines set.

you cant go over 99. the caregiver stuff is bs IMO. saying you have 3k plants but theyre for someone else, that shit dont work. if its over 99, the feds dont care your going to jail. with that said, the bubbles popped in cali, take that degree an do something you can actually make money at.

Not true about over 99. I have seen MANY and I mean MANY people get busted in my area, some with 600+ plants and never did a single day in jail. Hell, a dude I know got popped a few months ago flying 175lbs across country and they dropped all charges last week.

Just because some have gotten lucky isn't a guarantee that you will too. It also depends on who busts you. I know people who have been busted for over 99 plants, and did minimal time, but that's because they were busted by local cops. Feds aren't so nice. That 175lb thing is a fluke, there is more to that story for sure.

Sure, you can push it over 99 and might be ok, but maybe not. Depends on how much you like to gamble. Personally for me it's not worth the risk to my family to go over 99.

I'm not saying everyone will be fine. I was just saying you are not guaranteed jail time with over 99. Feds won't even bother with anything less than 10+ lights anymore these days as it is. Feds don't have time to be busting 2,4,6,8 light setups.

not really. the feds are not the ones going after grows, the feds are paying local law enforcement to go after grows. The feds are concentrating of "dispensaries", those fake pharmacy wanna be's. If you have a all your paperwork in order and you are not disguising yourself as a legit operation to run your criminal enterprise, then you're good. I just got done with 250 plants and no one knocked on my door, all the patients came and picked up their dried cannabis medication and everyone started high fiveing each other.

What I can tell you is, get educated my friend. PAY a lawyer or a consultant to give you the proper knowledge.

OK, sure. Tell that to my buddy who was busted a couple years ago. All his paperwork was in order.
