Very nice art. I completely stopped doing freelance tattoo's since I wasn't making very much money. With the cost of travel and supplies plus my time to draw up designs and stencil them, "all freehand might I add" it just wasn't worth it anymore.

Do you have a stencil maker? I would have loved to have one since drawing a custom piece of art then making a stencil then tattooing it started messing with my wrist.

I have a woodburner/soldering iron/stencil thingy for doing them in acetate. What you want to do is print it on that carbon paper that the real guys use. My tatto gun arrives in the mail soon ^^

Too bad about your wrist I now how that sucks... I have arthritis.

I love going back to review work and hate it at the same time. I drew this on a bus 2 weeks ago under low light with no eraser... I can see more of the anatomical mistakes having not looked at it in so long. I am going to rework it a little and trace it on the light box, one version cleaner and more suitable for a tattoo and one version sort of 'tribal'-looking.

Yup, I need to definitely fix the sizes and angles of the head/neck of the lower wolf, the muzzle of the upper wolf, work on the paws more and fix the way the fur lies on both of them.

There's a difference between the two ideas. If a bunch of people tell you that you suck, but there's still enough folks that like it to buy your work, you're still making money. If a bunch of people call you a dick, then you're just a dick. If you want to come out of the blue and shit-talk people's work, then that pretty much removes all dick-related doubt. This "In the professional world" bullshit is just that, bullshit. You're using it as a cover to try and justify your crappy attitude. The professional way to say "That looks like shit" is "Can I offer some advice?" and then be constructive, the other professional option is to keep your mouth shut and move along. I'm sure you have enough room for improvement that you don't need to be trying to look cool by shit talking the hard work of others.

if thats how you do business cool but that shit dont fly in the tattoo world..advice is earned and not given. and the way they are doing it is not the correct way of going about it.. when i said their shit sucks they should have said something like ".....yeah im pretty sure it does but i really dont have anyone teaching me and its pretty hard trying to teach my self" and then boom! thats when the nice guy with advice and guidance comes in. instead they say shit like "well i really dont give a shit what your scumbag ass thinks." and thats why theyll never get anywhere tattooing which i know you know nothing about.. people may be buying his or her shit but that doesnt mean that they are good nor does it make them good... anyone could sell a pice of shit to the right dumbass. pennies compared to what they could really be making with the right apprenticeship which no one ever wants to do.. plus its not that easy to find one.
