1. Abolish any legistlation that was un-constitutional - try & imprison those from the executive branch responsible for implimentation
2. Audit & Abolishment of the FED coupled with new financial reforms
3. An Open & wide ranging investigation into the events leading up to, during & after 9/11 (this would involve criminal prosectutions of individuals & corporations)
(this investigation would encompass foreign government involvement ie. Saudi Arabia & Pakistan)
4. End the so-called war on drugs
5. Disband Homeland Security

Say you had supreme dictatorial powers over everything in the US government, what would you do to make the place better?

Only limitations are what's outlined in the US Constitution, no killing American citizens, no making people slaves, etc.

Be as specific as possible!

First thing I would do is close most of the overseas military bases. Bring most troops home from overseas. Downsize the military in what is needed to PROTECT America and not be a world police force.
2nd I would make VAST changes in welfare and government assistance, including SS, medicaid/care, unemployment, disability.
