he says he has a friend in chicago who will fly into town and fellate him if romney wins.

this may be his best chance. no wonder he's rooting so hard for romney.

Yes, because you still struggle with the task of drawing Iran's route to the Mediterranean sea... Among quite a few other things like finding NorCal flounder...
you do realize in order for Iran to have a route to the Mediterranean sea they would still have to cross either Iraq or Turkey borders before they even get to Syria...so WTF are you and Romney talking about. You have no route with out permission from Iraq or Turkey

Trade sanctions have restricted Iran's ability to transport arms and goods through its own seaports. Iran is being forced to using air transportation to move cargo through an air corridor through Iraqi airspace into Syria and down to its seaports. We're not talking ground transportation through borders, it's just a matter of airspace provisions. There is also talks of a pipeline through Turkey and ending in Syrian ports on the Mediterranean Sea.

Tehran certainly uses Syria to supply the militant groups Hezbollah and Hamas, but that has little to do with the water (sea) as Romney so said. and what pipeline talks are going to have Iran passing thru Kurd land ??? got a link to that one

Well as usual (sound familiar), your opinion is wrong.
So bucky, when he denotes *opinions* as a joke, meaning it's not your opinion, rather fact that you attempt to play off as opinion, you try run with him calling it an opinion? Comical

Carne... If he could take lessons from an eel, what does that make you? Comical

I just don't see how this thread is relevant to politics. I understand Romney is running for office, but what does this have to do with anything?
Isn't it worth a shot to see what he can bring to the table? Energy independence sounds a lot better than 90$ billion in green energy Solyndra A123 subsidies. Electric car manufacturing jobs in Finland for cars costing well over 50 grand. Its not practical for the middle class
I am sorry, but every president going back 40 years or so has talked about energy independence. It's become this talking point of many presidents, and not one president has got us closer to that. I believe obama more then I do romney when it comes this subject. The lobbyist for the oil companies probably have a huge strangle hold on washington. I understand the we have not found anything comparable to gas, but we have keep looking. Even if we have 50 years of oil below us. 1. Doesn't mean that oil will stay domestically. 2. Doesn't mean we should be piliging the land if its last resources. I sure in hell love my national parks and my oceans. I sure in hell don't want to see oil rigs everywhere.

I thought this was pretty interesting:

[h=1]The Making Of Romney's Storm Relief Event[/h]Apparently Romney bought the "relief supplies" at Walmart that was supposed to be donated by the public. The crowd was told they couldn't stand in line to meet Romney unless they had a "donation." Then they were instructed to grab a grocery item (That Romney's Staff bought) stacked next to Romney and hand it to him. They would shake hands, hand over the item and a picture was taken.

And people want this man to be president.

In truth if we had listen to what President Carter was saying and wanting this country to do back in the late 70's we would not be having these energy issues.

so lets get this straight the man that wants us to trust him to be president

is comparing as equal situations , a freak storm to a party (one is random the other is people acting like fools at a HS football game)

and then is is comparing as equal situations, volunteers and or people whom were assigned to clean up after the football game to people who own/rent homes and apartments and business's being responsible for cleaning up the city

wow . . plains should have roll down windows logic there

Yep, Jimmy "peanuts" Carter is widely known to have been the "almost greatest" president ever. He's definately in the top 50, anyways.

The technology was not available 40 years ago. The technology we have now to extract fuels from the earth has come a LONG way. Energy independence is now finally possible. We have more energy at our fingertips than any other country in the world. Even more than Saudi Arabia. It just doesn't seem like it because of all the federal regulations prohibiting America from reaching its full potential. WE can vote for Obama who will continue to pay off his campaign donors with green energy subsidies, or we can put a president in office who will make life cheaper and easier for the middle class RIGHT NOW

He formed the Dept of Energy. Go look up his national energy policy. You might learn a thing or two.
