How important is it to distill your tap water before you water your plants with it on a scale of 1 - 10, 10 being most important. Thanks.
agreed... me and scrogl seem to agree on a lot of things of this nature...that depends on your tap water. but, overall i'd say 0
rain water is collected in the atmosphere where there are air pollutants and such, rain water is not ph perfect in nature as those rain clouds collect pollutants which comes down in the water, most rain water is slightly acidic with it being 6.3 where i live.agreed... me and scrogl seem to agree on a lot of things of this nature...
i like to look at how things work in nature.. is rain water ph'ed or anything of that sort?? of course it's not, it is what it is, yet natural plants outdoors seem to do live fine and prosper..
chlorine/chloramine kills off most contaminants anyways, rain water is not cleaned at all, if you live in so-cal id stay away from rain water as its full of bad shit. tap water in certain areas is contaminated by fusarium which is not killed by chloramine.i use municipal tap water ..........chlorine, chloramines, contaminants and all. i do collect rain and use that indoors, but only as a way of being cheap/sustainable.
1. Until everything else is perfect I wouldn't worry about it unless ur running well water or somethingHow important is it to distill your tap water before you water your plants with it on a scale of 1 - 10, 10 being most important. Thanks.
