on the premise that his stances are CONSISTENT...and among those most important to me, Johnson promises:
-43% cut to the defense budget
-ending government subsidies
-ending the departments: homeland security (bye bye TSA), education, energy, agriculture, etc
-ending the IRS and abolishing ALL federal taxes and replacing with a consumption tax
-ending the war on drugs

unfortunately, there are only 2 REAL votes. If you vote for someone other than the 2 main candidates, you are just riding on hopes and dreams. I would love for there to be a better choice out there, but we have Romney and Obama.... Don't split the vote and put your votes to the lesser of 2 evils!

I'm voting for Gary Johnson because Obama/Romney are essentially the same. I really don't care which one of them wins. Honestly I should probably not even vote its a waste of time because it doesn't matter which gangster wins, I am just doing it as a protest rather I guess because I would like to send a message by pumping GJ's numbers up one vote.

The choice for me is libertarian or don't vote, why will I vote? Its 25 meters away from my house and it takes 5 minutes. If it actually took an effort then no I wouldn't vote but its on my way to wherever I am going. I would never compromise my beliefs and vote for a non-liberty candidate.

as someone who lives in a rabidly blue state, i have absolutely no fear of "splitting the vote". i could bet every organ in my body that obama will win this state, and romney having been governor here will not give him any edge whatsoever. i have the freedom to vote for who i think is the best, not some "lesser of two evils". if more people had this attitude we could ditch this wretched two party system altogether. it's not going to go away by itself.

I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils again. Gary Johnson gets my vote. The D, and the R are one in the same to me. They are two sides of the same corrupt coin. They are both big govt. They are both pro war. They are both anti-liberty.

Romney is hiding his agenda so voting for Romney or other than Obama is dangerous.
I understand how voting for Johnson seems the right thing but if you like weed even a little know that not voting for Obama in this situation is a vote against Weed if Romney gets the job.
I seriously do not want to be writing "I told you so" in a few weeks.
So I am voting for Obama. I only hope that as a Lame Duck he will be more generous towards us Weed-People. Romney will not be anywhere near kind and you can count on that.

there are alot of people in this politics forum that don't even smoke, so they don't care if romney decides to take the failed war on drugs to a new level. neo-cons, they support him despite his stance on continuing wars in the middle east and wasting more tax payers dollars to fund them both. neither candidate is my candidate, but i won't stand for the consequences of voting romney.
