@ lilmafiaThanks for the hempy porn, I really like the root shots during transplant. Just shows how efficient a little hydro cup can be.
That's so true!!!:hump:

Only had a few with bad roots, and it was the result of being lazy and not actually measuring the proper ratio of mediums. Too much or little of either one is bad news for the girls...:o

And the root system i had on that one....It's a full size Bic lighter behind the main trunk coming out of bucket.....:weed:

I ran the Fox Farm trio on my hempy's, and only had problems with 1 or 2 strains. If i remember correctly The plants had a deficiency, Calcium...or magnesium....????

I cant remember, but all it needed was some micro nutes.....and i never messed with it, i had no problems from PPP from nirvana seeds in hempy,

Glad to see people still do hempy, im looking into RDWC at the moment and hope to figure it out easily lol :bigjoint:

Love the pics lilmafia, thanks. ... Picture 12 of clones in party cups is something I may do, to veg before moving to bottles.

Please feel free to post whatever you wish, its an open thread for all Hempyneers. :weed:
Thanks, my signature link, PPP SOG GROW has a lot of info in it, and pictures lol

Ive also had good luck vegging clones quick and big in a month or so, then transplanting outdoors to spend the summer thru harvest......

Hmmm .. BO and Gasoline. My favourite two smells. Other popular smells in weed are Dog Shit, Cat-Piss, Cheesy feet and Skunk musk. Who says Ganja isnt sociable? lol

That Elephant looks really nice.

1st watering day after transplant to hempy. 5 full days no problems the one on the left could have made it another day but some H2O anyways. This coco shit is a pretty good conveyor of moisture. The yellow on the right was the sign they were ready for food.

Coco is good stuff indeed. You should try it in a mix with Rockwool flock sometime. .. I use that now and I dont think i'll go back to Perl/Verm.

Yours look really nice and green. :weed:

edit:
I always look at whats in the background of these pics... Is that a quality pH meter behind that plant? Looks like a Hanna. I just have a crappy pen type. Hows it working for you? Does it require much calibration? and does it read to 2 decimal places?

It is a nice hanna meter, had a pen for some time and upgraded a yr ago. I've checked the cal 4 times in the last yr and have never had to adjust it. It reads in tenths, no hundredths. Once they get mapito over here you know I'll be giving it a try.

There are many ways to hempy. From what I've seen and heard coco is supposed to be the best and that's why I'm giving it a try agian. Myself I gave up verm along time ago, and start my plants in soil then transplant them to a perlite bucket and then cap the top couple of inches in soil. As long as your medium has good capillary action, it will hempy.

I think they call it a meters 'resolution', tenths are probably as accurate as the ones with hundredths anyway. ..... I'm going to upgrade too, im having to calibrate evry 3-4 uses which is a joke.

The mapito is just Rockwool Flock with about 20% coco. ... I think next time i'll just buy it as flock rather than as the 'Mapito', if its cheaper.

Well I chopped the Maui-Wowie outdoor girl today, well almost all of it. Had to do it today, going out of town for a few days. I still have a few more hrs trimming, but just too too too stoned to finish.

The results MW_MomTrim10-5 001riu.jpgMW_MomTrim10-5 003riu.jpgMW_MomTrim10-5 005riu.jpg then a screen of lessors MW_MomTrim10-5 004riu.jpg

and whats still left to go MW_MomTrim10-5 006riu.jpg

Not bad for a 15 gen clone, but the true source to this winner is 'Ample Direct Sunlight"
Ya'll have a great weekend.

Blue dream runt. Dense buds but maybe an oz off it plus a bit of popcorn. I have a feeling my harvest is going to be fairly light this time. put too many strains at differing heights in. Had to throw 8 plants out due to hermie in an afghan strain and bad pm on two trainwrecks..then my 400 halide ballast stopped working at week 5...excuses excuses...prob 8-10 if im lucky off a 600 watt. Oh well first run in new house. Next run should be much better. Cheers folks. .IMG_20121005_234805.jpg

Well the bud looks nice. Its not easy making an indoor grow as efficient as possible. Ive been trying to get to my 150+ hempy goal but haven't managed it yet. Its taken me a year to get to where I am now. Ive learnt a lot about what I have to do, regarding my setup and will keep trying.

How much were you going for? 8-10 is better than a poke in the eye and its worth a lot of dough where I come from.

You're right about the different strains not being ideal in terms of yield. The height differential sees to that. ... Ive got 5 or 6 different strains in preparation, after I grow them out, I'm going to find the best and most popular and concentrate on that. ... I need to make some money on this, so time to end the vanity projects i think.

Yeah, i'm aiming for between 150-160 hempies. atm I'm going full speed ahead, just redesigning my setup and making space where I can. ... Watering is going to be the biggest challenge but I'm up for it. ... My flower room is going to have so little room to move in that it will be a pain.

Ive just put my 8bulb T5 in my flower room in addition to the 3 x 600W. Half the room is unused and I'm still unsure if I can vent all the heat. 2 extractor fans should handle it. ... Ive got a few weeks until the moms are able to give clones but as soon as I can I'm going for it. After getting rid of everything last time, I have a lot of catching up to do.

hey moebius and other hempy enthusiasts. I got my flood and drain table put together and am trying to set the timer... what do u think i should have it set up as? theyre in 4 gallon square pots and doing well i supercropped the shit out of it and haven't gotten a chance to use the flood and drain so i just have had the buckets in other buckets instead of holes on the side, because i had holes in all my squares already. So its your basic flood and drain and i have a 16-set timer.. i set it for on/off for half hour with 45 mins in between. at night i think its on off for 15 mins with 45 in between. LMK thank you !!

ah Nizza, I wish I could tell ya'.

I only have little experience in the old Flood+Drain. I believe its just 'on/ wait 15min / off ' a day though. ..... What your doing seems way out. I don't understand what '45minutes in between' means. Please others chime in.

Its not a hempy your doing though is it? I having some trouble picturing it and understanding. Its why I do hempy so I don't have to mess with pumps and timers.
