I must say that hunting is a HUGE part of my life. Its a method of peace I cannot find anywhere else. Does anyone else feel the same way? Maybe its just me because I have some anxiety and PTSD issues but, to me, its the ultimate calm!

It's very much like a religion to me. Without it I'd certainly go mad. I've been seeing quite a few of nice bucks lately, gets me fired up!

Yeah, I like bow hunting in the U.P. the best. Something about the thwack! Also, I love just listening to God's creations. You can hear shit you never thought you would hear if you listen close enough. If it's good enough for the nuge it's good enough for me.

Yes....all of the above. Its hard to find the right words sometimes. Its strange how something can be so relaxing and a huge rush at the same time!

I only hunt with a camera these days. A lot more fun and a lot less work... and gore... and guts... and that smell... that horrible awful smell...

I go out deer hunting every year I love it espeacialy in the snow I've been trying to get my moose liscense for a few years too but no luck I would love to take down a moose I also want to head out west and get an elk. I can't wait till my daughters about 8-10 so I can bring her out for her first buck shit I can't wait till she can fire a gun.
I only use iron sights I hate scopes and I'm always dead on one shot one kill theirs nothing better than the feeling when you finally get that big buck. then I smoke a bowl find him gut him and drag him out.

how does cannabis scent effect attraction of deer?
I smoke weed out in the woods but I always relocate after blazing and I've gotten about 2 feet from a doe I saw her about 20 yards from me on the trail and I just stood there still hoping for a buck to come around then she walked right up to the trail I could have took her down with a knife but it was buck season and she wasn't far from my land and I prefer to let the females breed.

I'm a professional trapper/hunter mate and I absolutely love my work, A knife and my dogs are all I need. No matter what shit is happening in life it doesn't matter when you're in that "mode". Makes me laugh when people go on how nasty and cruel hunters are, to me eating an animal which has had a natural life, free to roam, doing what it was meant to do and having a chance to fight for life is much less cruel than eating something which has lived in a confined space, force fed hormones only to be systematically slaughtered for our table.
How bout fishing? I'm nuts about fishing also, NZ has some of the best hunting and fishing in the world and you're never far from the ocean or the bush at any time.

i love to hunt but i just dont shoot as many deer anymore. i have become more selective now and only take mature bucks. i used to be a big meat hunter, but in my household now, i am the only one that eats it so i only shoot 1 or 2 bucks a year. i like to watch them more nowadays because i think of all the work to come after the shot. so i watch many deer come by almost everytime i go out and i sit and smoke away and they dont even care.

but alot of them not caring is because i am always in the woods, and the deer see and smell me everyday. alot of the doe dont run away from me because they know i wont harm them. and since i dont harm the doe and they hang around, the bucks will come around when those doe go into heat.
