What is stopping you from mowing lawns on weekends for extra cash? Whats stopping you from providing some kind of service on your own time to make extra cash? You could help the elderly, cook meals for them, do shopping for them, shit tons of ideas to make extra cash and none of it requires your boss to do anything. All you have to do is work harder and spend less time having fun and you can make an extra buck or two.

You made it personal when you said that all the lawns in your neck of the woods were dead. I am not actually telling you to do these things but you made the assumption that the only way to make extra money was by working overtime. I am just letting you know that you should try and think outside the box once in a while.
