so what is "reasonable suspicion" for suspecting that someone is here illegally?

Try to follow along here bucky....
The state law enforcement can now ask for proof of citizenship. If it cannot be proven then the person is turned over to ICE which = the Federal Government for further processing.
Who's rights are being violated and by which agency?
I am pretty sure there is a reason SCOTUS didnt shoot this part of the law down and it is not the reason you are trying to portray.

when (not if) a cop falsely detains someone for "reasonable suspicion", a lawsuit will follow.
"reasonable suspicion" will become a land mine that no one wants to step in.
the SCOTUS basically killed that part of the law by upholding it the way they did. the SCOTUS killed everything else of consequence in that bill.

Well in NYC thats SOP for the police, its called "stop and frisk". Theyve stopped and frisked thousands of people for things such as "suspicious appearence"

If there out driving around without mommy and daddy, I say turn um over!

Well, the NYC citizens have gone for that apparently. It doesnt happen in AZ.
IMO, the stop and frisk law is against the bill of rights against unreasonable search and siezure. However, the New York citizens have given up their liberty for the illusion of safety.
I would not live in NY if you paid me a million dollars a year.
