The "societies" don't give vacations at all. They force employers to give vacations. They do this to combat their ridiculously high unemployment rates. The idea is to force employers to hire more workers by forcing full-time workers to become part-time workers. With current unemployment rates of 15-50%, where would they be without manipulating the labor market?
