Oh, trust me I'm not quittin by no means. Yeah like everyone has I hit the nutes to hard at 1/2 strength and they can't take that. I don't let them sit in the run off either, I don't let my normal grow plants sit in run off. I know that sticking to a feeding schedual helps but I have also paid attention to lighting and the more intencity the better the bud.

Thanks guys but come on, no reason to be embarrassed. You all have some great looking party cups with great potential too! Trust me when I say I by no means am taking the speed of my cup maturing as any indication of what the final outcomes will be. I know the real competition has just begun as everyone else's starts to flower...just not sure why it appears I'm weeks ahead of everyone else? I know that there hasn't been much talk about nutes and feeding schedules so maybe we should start sharing what we've been doing to help each other out? It is a friendly competition after all. It very well could be a strain that took to 12/12 easily, maybe the nutrients and time they were used, but I really think the light has a lot to do with it. Its been under the apache the whole time and I think the intensity has helped a lot. Best of luck to everyone still in the competition, I'm looking forward to seeing them start to bud up!

Yeah, The competition has pretty much just started I agree but it is truly amazing how far ahead and beautiful your girl is. It's more mind games than anything I suppose., Your gonna finish first and set the bar. So right now your the man! heh.

IMO is has got to be mostly a combination of your light and genetics. Maybe genetics more than anything? All I know is if it yields even decently I'm gonna snatch up a bunch of seeds and run a SOG 12/12!

I suppose nutes play a role in how well yours are doing as well... But if so you must have a light hand because it looks like the rest of us laid our bitches out early and we're all slowly recovering. heh. I pretty much laid out what I've been doing as far as my nute regime in my previous post... 1/4 str nutes fed water, water, nutes, water, water, nutes. I'm also hitting them up twice a day, once about an hour before "lights out" so they don't dry out and wilt before I get to them again the next day.

Another things... If my #2 started budding earlier she would not be nearly as bushy as she is now. The fact that it has taken my girls so long to show pistils is what allowed her to recover from all those toppings...

Ok, I I'm stoned to the bone... I really feel like I'm rambling now... lol.

I think most of it has to do with the grower himself. Along with the genetic, good timing, and perhaps coco? I think most decent led light would give similar results on such a small plant . Puffenuff had the first few weeks dialed in with the feeding/watering.

Personally my cups were under the canopy for too long and I also should have fed them earlier. I was busy at the start. When I started feeding them I was using only fish emulsion, which is 2-1-0. then they started to flower and since I dont have any commercial bottled nutrients for flowering I didnt really know what to do, (I wanted to keep them organic and didnt want to use flora nova that I still have from my first grow...) Meanwhile I was just getting into compost tea even more in my veggie garden so I always have a tea brewing and I have been feeding those teas full strength ever since. I think the main problem was to leave them in the runoff all the time.

While I do agree it has some to do with the grower, plant genetics, feeding scheduals, and growing media. Light intencity still has a big roll, and after you got yours up and into your light it made a difference. I know Amaximus asked what my 135 draws and it's barely 95 to 97 watts, and I'm not sure it's doing 135. I do know that it needs to be higher than 12" from the tops as it has bleached a couple of the bag seed plants that aren't in the competition. But me and my little light are in this to the end, as I want people to know what they can do with these things.

By the way, I feed Fox Farm trio, started with 1/4 strength and should have stayed there. Made the mistake of going to 1/2 and they just couldn't handle that much. I'm on a feed, water, water, feed schedual also but I don't do it everyday, as they don't dry out that fast for me.

So, I went away for the weekend. Watered my plants and asked a close friend to check on them and water them saturday.

They did not.

Sadly, I think I may lose one but two of them seem keen to keep on living.

Just a group shot, I don't have my camera but there's no progress. Just sadness :(

The little stubby one is just trucking. I think she may end up being my best.

Depending on how much I squint at the screen, unknown has either 6 or 8 bud sites it looks like. That one close up looks a little more developed than mine. Nice little bush!

Psycho, With a little tlc it looks as if you might be able to save all three of them. Let us know how they do, man.

Oh, look another page of updates I didnt see before replying... lol.

Your girls really started budding, Endo! Kept up and in your light with a proper watering schedule I think you and puff would be close as far as bud development goes. They're coming on fast!

PS - pretty colors with the deficiencies. Green, yellow, red, purple? - I'm only sporting lots of yellow leaves! heh!

i pruned it last week to get rid of lots of popcorn sites, leaving 7 main bud sites.

On feeding, its always been full strength nutes, at the moment canna a+b 3ml per litre, Roots Excelurator 0.3ml/L, big bud 2ml/L, the ec was 1.8 and she drinks 250ml of this per day.

unknown, You growing in coco? You have probably mentioned it but I don't remember if you did... Also, What is your opinion of big bud? I'm going to be tinkering with my next grow a bit more than i did the first time around. I was thinking about using big bud or bud candy at some point...

I use molasses, and my GF tells me that the plants I have over fed it to have a sweeter taste than the ones I haven't fed it to or just gave it once in awhile. it's cheaper than Bud Candy or Big Bud.
