Hey I'm a grower in the H... how long do you dry for down here with our temp being hot as hell lol. I'm always having a prob with my drying I think I'm doin it to longer something?

Get some little cheap humidity meters (like around $7-8 each on ebay) and use those to determine when to take down your stuff. When it hits 55-60 in the jars it's done. Over 70% in the jar it still needs to dry more before curing. Humidity meters are gonna be essential in houston during the initial drying process to make sure you're not so humid you're gonna get mold on your bud.

hey texas guys do most of the shops you go to have smart pots? i want to pick some up to see the difference in my tomato plants. and than possible my indoor plants. i just would hate to go to a shop and them not have any.

Pretty much all that are actually serious grow stores do. Only small places and smoke shops might not have'm. Just call and ask.

alright thanks guys to bad all the stores by me are closed. i tried a nursery but they didnt have any they actually said "we most certainly do not" dont know what that means. maybe they feel they are associated with marijuana. i feel like alot of people would want to use them. since they are better pots and also cheaper and easier to store

Thanks @ senseimilla for the advice ima look into it , I have an extra temp reader, the little average square one that you get from the grow shop with the white wire and sensor at the end. I use it in my veg room sometimes, it measures humidity to, it might work also right?

So I have been growing on and off since 09 and have really been on it hard the last 2 yrs. My op has grown but I honestly never grew the dank I've been looking for. After much trial and era, finally getting my nuts and additives right( hopefully) I think I'm going to be good this run. I will share exactly what I'm doing, any positive comments are well appreciated!

First my veg room, I have a 8x5x10 tent with 9 mothers which are black Russian, crazy miss Hyde, super lemon haze, kings Kush, cotton candy and some bag seeds. I use sensi a+b for my base nutes and tap water which I let sit out 24 hrs befor I use it. I ph everything I have made a aero cloner and a veg unit my self, it works clones take like a week to two to root the I put into to veg box for about another 2 weeks and they get big. I use home and garden root excellarator, clonex and clonex rooting gel. I perpetual grow 2 weeks for clones and 2 for veg and they go into flower. I transplant from the aero systems to soil, I use three gallon smart pots, 707 soil bud blood for the first week then big bud and bud candy, the last 2 -3 weeks overdrive and hum bolt crystal burst my base nutes in flower are sensi bloom a+b . My flower room is 12x12 I have to 1000w hps that are air cooled I have like 40-50 plants in there right now some are on there 8th week going into nine I have been checking with a microscope every day to see if there ready. My temps never go passed 79 80 I have a acunit in there, I'm letting the kings Kush that is 8 weeks go 9weeks with nutes plus a week flush so they can develop and the super lemon haze which are the same age as the kings Kush (8weeks) got 10 with nutes and 1 week flush. All the plants are milky but not amberish that's why I'm not harvesting yet I'm being patient for another week. I think this will be my best grow, previous grows I didn't use any additives like bud blood, big blood and bud candy or overdrive hum bolt crystal burst. I was just using sensi a+b base nutes in veg and flower and didn't have any results so I finally just bought additives, I didn't have an extra ac etc. I wonder if it's ok to use the over drive for 4 weeks because my super lemon haze started with my kings Kush but ima let them run to 10 weeks and they already been on overdrive and hum bolt crystal burst for 3 weeks ?????? Anyone know ?????? But I want to post pics but I'm too much of a paranoid stoner lol I also need help drying and curing, I have to do it perfect this time, it's hot as shit in H-town and humid as hell so any info on drying tips like how long and where to hang them would be bomb!

Sounds good, I stop with nutes 3 weeks before harvest an flush the third week just to make sure I get everything outta there. Honestly my closest worked great for drying your right tho this htown weather will dry yo shit out extra quick. 3 to 4 days tho there usually dry enough,best cure at lesat a month for me its really up.to you how long you wanna cure for.

Well if there not fully developed then there probably not ready to come down in 2or3, unless you have some sativa dom or pure sativa shit they should be ready in 2 weeks if your going into your 9th week. Pics would really help but shit I feel you I stopped posting pics too lol. Anyway nutes don't make a plant develop they just give it extras it needs to develop so stopping the nutes isn't going to make it stop developing but you most certainly don't want all those nutes in your stash.
