Did they build it? should it be built?

Should muslims be allowed to do such a thing?

excellent trap thread for the righties.

the same people who, months ago, were arguing that the muslims shouldn't be allowed to build their peaceful place of worship are now the ones crying that their religious freedom is being assraped by women who just want their preventive medicine to be considered preventive medicine.

come one come all! show off the religious bigotry you have in your heart!

corporations are people, but muslims are not!

come one come all, and step right up to call a muslim a terrorist! it's fun!

Women are second-rate assrapists. Trust me; I've reviewed extensive, penetrating video evidence. cn

There was never a mosque "at Ground Zero." The distance between that site and GZ is a world by NYC standards.
There are some pretty bizarre places even closer to GZ than the Islamic center. You name it. More than one hardcore adult bookstore. A leather bar. An Amish restaurant. Those are just places _I_ know about :-). The Islamic center is like a YMCA (which it used to be). It doesn't have minarets and a domed roof LOL. And it's "near" GZ by Midwestern suburb standards. But NYC is a strange place and a few blocks is another world. Seriously.

they should move the rock that they kiss at mecca to nyc GZ and just do it there, for the pilgrimage to mecca will now be pilgrimage to GZ and on their way they should get special privilege to go around the TSA and CUSTOMS so that the line doesn't get too long at the airport.

Damn you, I was going to use that very thing and I suspected that no one would notice that tiny disparity where our demanding that Catholics offer contraception was in violation of constitutional freedom of religion but not allowing that mosque to be built was not.

Oh well.

No one fell for it though. They are not going to post what they really feel and they are not going to attempt to justify their contradictions.

All you religious people need to go on an island together. Let's make it a gameshow, Religion Survivor. It'll be like the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you still lose. I'd totally watch that show.
