it.

i cut off N in pretty much the manner prescribed by beenthere and the results are markedly different than the avatar he was sporting.

LMAO They should be different Mr. Master Grower, that 30 yr old skunk plant wasn't deficient in nitrogen, hey you going to publish this remarkable find of yours? LOL

Hey, remember when you insisted is was an iron or calcium deficiency, even after I told you we were on well water in Mendo county! LOL

It's a BuckyBucket grow. (Nice flowers btw.)

But the choice of beer explains to me why he's paying $13.50 to vote. cn

<edit> looks like it's trying to rebel against flowering ... i see reveg-style foliage in there ... ~ducking~

i'm going to go snap a pic of a plant i have that is about ready for harvest.

So let me get this straight Mr. Master. You look at a 30 yr old picture of a pot plant, diagnose it as being N deficient, then, you starve your own plant of N and now claim it doesn't resemble a N deficient plant! LOL LOL LOL

At least now you could appreciate the entertainment value we get reading your posts!

Is that perlite? Where the soil at?

i stay away from hot soils. i like the light mixes to give me a little better control over the feeding.

i enjoy playing flying spaghetti monster with my plants.

like i mentioned, this plant started to flower outdoors in may (i took them out there to veg them and save money on electric), brought her inside to reveg and cloned her, and then flipped her into flower while she was still one bladed for the most part. it turned out better than i expected TBH, but nothing to write home about.

N-deficient

mine were not starved of N, they were weaned off of N in the manner you describe. ditto my outdoor gals. i will have pictures of them at harvest for you to demonstrate the difference as well on level playing ground (outdoor vs. outdoor, rather than outdoor vs. indoor).

And you're giving growing advice! Sorry bro, ya gotta admit that's pretty ironic, and funny to boot! LOL

BTW, I have some more advise for you, this will be the best thing you can use.

you heard it here first, folks.

don't bring your plants outdoors when you're getting 14+ hours of light each day to veg them and save money on electric, that's bad advice.

that was one of two strains (out of 12+) that flowered with 14+ hours of light. i could have hung some CFLs to prevent this, too.

are you sure you've ever grown a plant before, apart from those sickly yellow twigs you displayed?

I just spit out a mouth full of microbrew! LOL

so tell me what the horrible sin is about bringing plants outside to veg in the summer?

i turned my two veg layers into flower layers when i vegged outside and enjoyed the extra treadmill funds.

tell me why that was such a horrible move already.

End of May perhaps but I wait until June for plants that have been veging for a while. I will start seeds that early though.
But i will give you an A for effort, I would have tossed it!

ut i will give you an A for effort, I would have tossed it!

i had lots of veg plants out there in early may and most didn't flower.

that one might have met the pile too if not for an unexpected visit from some neighborhood kids.

Back in the day dude, we never heard of plant starting to reveg after the end of April.
I think it's genetics myself, ruderalis to be specific but just my theory.
