Obama is captain moneybags and is anti-pot or do you not know Obama's stand on marijuana?

Althor, did I miss it or did you neglect to respond to my post about your Obama not really being the cause of your failure to hire more employees?

oh I agree..I was seeing if beenthere does that or does he keep his plants from receiving any N
I'll be honest, I'm not sure if you are trying to patronize me or just being genuinely inquisitive, so I will side on the error of grace.

I start waning N right after transition, on average I cut all N out about three to four weeks before chop to make the plant use up it's stored N.
Knowing that nutrient elements make up about 8-10% of the dried matter (bud) and N levels can be as high as 20,000ppm, I do this to leave the finished product makeup more concentrated in H, O and C. This gives the buds a better taste, I also cut back K in the last two weeks for the same reason.

I'm not saying this is the only or best way to finish a plant, it just works very well for me and my customers.

Having never sucessfully grown a plant to finish, your plan sounds as good as any and better than some. You guys have far more patience than I with regard to growing this herb.

Thanks canndo, but I wouldn't call what I have patience, more on the lines of tolerance.
There are many frustrating hours involved, growing for patients in N. CA gets to be a grind at times, far too many weed snobs, what was high demand in February, may not be in April!

There are less dispensaries and more legal worry for MMJ patients in California now than before Obama was elected (despite his promise). Can't blame Bush for that one ....
yeah you can blame the cities who are starting to fight back against the state law.

can't blame obama for that one; but you can blame him for allowing the DEA to be California Cities little dirty clean up bitch.

Well, as I said, I just can't grow this stuff to finish and I have long since given up. What could be called my "expertise" lies in having things grow in weeks at most. and of course, for me, those artificial seeds are where it's at.

I'm not directly blaming democrats or republicans, it's the federal government in general, no matter who's in charge at any given time.

I think the feds are laying the groundwork for micromanaging the distribution of MMJ just like they do pharmaceuticals, through the FDA. As it is, they cannot control it or collect tax revenue on it from so many small levels of distribution.

no honestly was asking a question to see how and why...Not sure where you getting that 20,000ppm for N..Thats high as fuck. I do hydro ( waterfarm) and 20,000 of anything would kill my plant instantly. again just was asking to see if it was anything I was missing.

CA's system does indeed provide for federal taxation. That being the case, I doubt that they are attempting to manage things so they get their revenue. I think it is still as it always was, a perfect storm of legislative inertia, racism, ego and weeping mother syndrome.

20,000ppm content per dried matter weight, or about 1.4%

It is interesting to me that one could compare the Democrat position on Romney's taxes with claiming that Gore actually said he invented the internet.

I am talking specificaly about the process of taking a statement out of context - something that the right excels at. You are talking about Dems demanding that Romney show us some information that might illuminate who this business man is. He ran on the fact that he was a good businessman, why should we not see proof of this?
Yes that would be nice, but would it matter really???
The last guy, bankrupted two Companies and lost Millions his Aunts retirement money.

But is that total N, or "free excess" N that the plant has stored? Where can i read about this? cn
It is total N which I believe is referred to as dinitrogen, I'm just a long time grower not a plant biologist by any means.

Google nitrogen cycles and start there.

oh..I missed that dried weight..ok. so you do use N during Veg and less in flower..you just cut it off like 3 weeks before finish letting plant use what ever it has
I use as much N during veg as the plant will let me but I don't just cut off the N, I slowly taper it down right after flip, then about 3 weeks prior to finish it's completely eliminated.

But Uncle Buck says you don't give them any nitrogen ever.

Uncle Bucky is poking fun at a 30 yr old pic of an original skunk plant I grew (which he knows absolutely nothing about)
Uncle Bucky gets extremely frustrated at times and blurts stupid shit out, very reminiscent of Joe Biden I might add.
It goes in one ear and out the other, it's just Bucky being Bucky.

But that is what he said beenthere, UB said it and he even had a picture as proof.

Dinitrogen is elemental nitrogen gas. It cannot be part of analyzable N.

But I am intrigued by your claim of 20 000 ppm (two per cent!) analyzable N. I'd appreciate a more direct link than "google the nitrogen cycle". cn
