yeah, because in capitalism, businesses never fail.

spending has been steady. no increases. we are stuck with bush's $1.5 trillion annual structural deficits until crybaby boehner realizes that the pentagon is telling him they don't need as much funding as they are getting. but ignore that $700 billion dollar elephant in the room, if we just make abortion illegal, kill NPR, and symbollically repeal obamacare for the 34th time, it will all be better.

deflect a little harder.
And this gem of a criticism is coming from a guy that can't even hold down a job! LOL

don't lie. you said you were not going to start any of your shuper aweshome busshinesshes because big bad obama was hurting you so badly.

.
Ah crap I remember that

You are a lair. You said you wouldnt start a business because somehow the guy that has a darker skin tone than you and is President is oppressing you
Yet Obama has given small business numerous tax breaks and incentives

Even Nodrama has taken advantage of them

It is you and the Dem's that have to deflect from their shitty record for the past 3 1/2 years.

Less jobs, more unemployment, 5 trillion in debt, the worst recovery in history, etc... Obama cant run on his record cause it looks like 9 miles of bombed out highway.
Oh and Fox business
says the economy is looking better

LMAO Just like clockwork.

Beenthere? you figure it is perfectly fine to continue to call for votes for something that everyone calling for those votes knows will not pass? Do you pay attention to what goes on in Congress? Have you seen the statements made by Republicans vowing to obstruct Obama at every turn? Do you know how many bills that Republicans were for before Obama they are now against - en block?

I'm sorry to have to keep waiving reality in your face Beenthere, but someone has to do it - "like clockwork"

dude, as more people start to realize what's in the health care bill more people are against it. It's now a large majority against it. The Senate is actually acting AGAINST the will of the people and have a good chance of actually losing control by dems because of it. So yes, the will of the people is to repeal Obamacare, and the dems are blocking the will of the people. Spin it anyway you want, but this is not about the right, this is about "the people". It's over 70% against it now. Not against health care reform mind you, but against Obamacare.

Also, he absolutely DID rape medicare to fund this, how can this even be questioned?

Actually, gin you are incorrect on several fronts.

I just started Wendell Potter's book after having followed the health care debate since the beginning of H.R. 3200. When I saw a viral e-mail listing all the horrible provisions in the bill I simply didn't believe that anyone would be stupid enough politicaly, if not in the capacity of a human being, to actually want to put forward such a thing. I found that there were some outright lies in that little hit list but for the most part it was a list of a particular reading or interpretation that was hidiously misleading - only now am I finding out that it was purposeful.

Potter was in PR for Cigna and what he (so far) is saying is that health care PR accomplished every bit and more of what they intended to. What people object to is what has been floated by those PR firms with a little help from the rightist machine.

When the law is broken down into its individual pieces you find that the public is all for each piece - this could be seen as an indicator that they don't really know what is in the law.

It may well be the will of the people to have the law repealed but when they discover what they will lose they will be quite upset.

And he absolutely did not rape mdeicare to fund this but made agreements with the insurance companies to defund certain practices in return for his assurance that he would have all the people in one plan or another. The money he saved from waste, abuse, and inducements for insurance companies to be involved in parts of medicare and medicaid winds up being about 700 billion, that money is going as you say, back into his plan. I can't believe (well, I can actually) that Republicans being all for cutting waste and corporate "welfare" would be smearing Obama over this.

In short, health insurance and FOX have so obscured the reality of this plan and the motivations surrounding it that the people really don't know what to believe.

Care to show us these "savings" in waste and abuse, or should we just take your word for it?

so either he cut 500B right off the top and counted that towards decreasing the cost of the bill or he put it in somewhere else (he didn't) and still counted it as decreasing the cost of the bill, which is it?

The doctor fix that costs 370B in medicare payments wasn't counted in the health care bill either but student loans were (counted as a repayment at 100% too).

When asked specific provisions that people like or not it all depends on the questions doesn't it? Are you in favor of allowing children up to 27 to remain on parents plan? Hell yes, those people most likely wouldn't buy their own insurance and are at the healthiest age of their lives which lowers our premiums by allowing their parents to purchase an additional person. Pre-existing coverage? hell yes.

Are you in favor of charging an extra tax on wheel chairs and oxygen? How about taking away your FSA accounts? In favor of Pharmaceuticals being able to dictate the name brand of your drug while not allowing competition? How about not being able to purchase insurance from the next state, or being limited to 1 year purchases instead of 5 or 10?

You can spin it how you want, every poll you see will show the majority are against the bill in it's entirety and the dems are acting against the will of the people. As you can see, I can ask specific questions geared toward making the unfavorability upwards of 90%.

This bill is a gold mine for Cigna, AARP etc.

Why is it obstruction when the left wants bills passed the right disagrees with but when it's the other way around, the word obstruction is no where to be heard?

And I do see what's going on in congress my friend, along with almost 70% of the American public.
Obama and the democrats are forcing an unwanted mandated government healthcare plan down out throats!

That depends beenthere. Although I can be and have been misled, I don't lie. So you could take my word for it, much as you seem to think I should take your word for your assertion that Obama "gutted" medicare in order to pay for his health care reform.

but I can show you evidence. Of course I suspect that the first thing you will do is impugn my sources.
