8 inch all the way, I dont understand why someone would use any smaller. Was he including the Ballast? 50 is way to cheap, thats just foolish, maybe you are that hot.. lol

Lets do the math real quick I can usually harvest a Lb no problem from a 1000 watts, 10 K's = 10lbs= 40,000x6(typical harvest a year)=240,000 Five years you'll be a millionaire

Just because you can grow it doesn't mean you can sell it. For example, I expect to yield 2-4 lbs this grow... what do I gotta do with it? i guess cook it, hash it and smoke it... a couple of lightweight friends who might occasionally pick up an eigth or a quarter, but.... 
why grow that much? just to see if i can and have fun doing it sadly... and to have a mountain of different types of weed oh that and i have the equivalent of a wine cellar going on in my mancave

With myself, I don't really smoke these days that much,only because I am not currently growing and hate buying pot. I just have that attitude where I can sell anything to anyone, anywhere. It's really not healthy, but I got into this game for one reason and it was to live a good life. I am so broke, I have nothing, a shitty job, a shitty car and since I stopped growing I have been broker then ever. I use to have all the girls and tons of cash. I learn the hard way its all fake. I am not saying this right, its just the way I feel. My little Aya trip last night, kinda changed things. I am so ready to start growing again. But I have minor unresolved legal issues, which scare the shit out of me.
I always had a problem with no matter how much I harvested I could not keep my costumers happy. But then again I dump so many Lbs of high grade in a small town. I've always been a peoples person, probably my biggest down fall in life.

i like brite ideas in south austin... it's nothing special and no super deal but they have most everything you could need, lots of organics and the people there are cool. Also the location is convenient for me

If the people are cool and they can get what you need, then that is a perfect hydro store. My Favorite of all time was Water Babies which is no longer open, he moved on to bigger better things "legally".. But he was the kinda of guy that would smoke with you right there in the store. The first day I met him I got to go to his house and see the magic, that was the beginning of my journey.
I was accompanied by my brother, he was already in the circle so it was a walk in the park. That was a great day

man i so feel you on the post earlier about how fake growing can be. i was large n in charge. had freinds call day and night, money money money. i just kept buying more houses more supplies no matter how much i made it was never enough. I grew when growing wasnt cool. before the paper and plastic mentality of took the seed market to where we are.
This game is changing. but year after year i still keep sticking around. i cant recall a time in the last three years when i have sold, but recall many desires to move my shit again....
However the laws of texas really hurt me and changed my thought. a few days ago i cut and burned thousands of dollars of hard work.
LSD SLH Sensi Budah og kandy k so many new and "cutting edge" genetics from barneys and GH and other top breeders. I had kinda talked myself back into commercial production.
I was not needing the cash, nor really enjoy getting high, mainly because its only me. So i cut this stuff. I threw it in a barrell and burned it in the middle of the night.
Most of this bud was done...... Most was B+ or better. of 22 plants i kept 2! this is all i need. I have got to a point over the last 5 years that i think the prices are insane, and these are even lower than the level i used to sell at. You can find cali outdoors all day same old dry quality, but for me a huge let down. i wanted to feel the cash roll in like before. at one point i was making about 3.5k a day. Now for everyone i know they all want this they treated me like a god. This site is all about getting high, making your own and talk. it glamorizes the craft of growing.
Now what happened to me ? why did i cut? because with the risk comes the penalitys. Keep that shitty job, and car. You dont want to be the guy like FDD. Or like me. Mine was 3 grow houses, partner in another.When the shit hit the fan all my "friends were gone" Some how i came out with my freedom and my investments. What i lost was my daughter. I had the best lawyers money could by. Took criminal trials and a civil trial all the way. Won the criminal, lost the civil. Yet i kelp growing. Back in my older history on this site i used to have so many instructional threads and posts, when i got busted the media and pictures all got removed. i used to feel that this was something io could do for life.
Now i feel like walking away forever. Not to forget but to move on. 2002 - 2008 was some crazy memorial days. 2008-2010 was pain central.
2010-2012 was Family coming apart. As a guy in his late 30's i now find this less cool.
One and what i feel the most important thing is NEVER grow when your life is not safe stable, or you have any obligation to a family court or partner wife/husband.
