i would rename chernobyl Bloody Ripper, its the nickname i gave mine. it purples with a bit of red on the leaves :D
..and also has JTRipper in its genetics, sounds good, but whatever than Chernobyl..
Anyone for the Apollo13xVortex? Vortex itself contains genetics from the Apollo13, sounds stable to bcross with it, I think.

i got the impression they were maybe to be sold not given as freebies but there was a miss-communication
and im sure he does the same for all, the guy is serious, jump on it if you want them or else you'll see a smoke report in a few month and you be kicking yourself
I jumped on it, not sure I will receive them given their status and demand.

i really want to see how TGA's jack's cleaner 2 compares to sannie's jack f7. at the moment, it's my favorite strain, but DNA's sweet haze and high quality seeds' haze x skunk are nice too. it's really nice to know that there are strains out there that aren't just variations on the nothing but stone narcotic experience. i'll never understand why anyone would actually enjoy being slow and stupid.

going by sannie's rep, the Jf7 should at least be really nice. i'm betting it's even less stoney, but i wonder if it will lack the cool touchy feely effect of JC2. that is a really fun effect i've only experienced one other time in short stuff's onyx. diesels are an abomination to me not only for what they represent (global destruction and gree), but just for the flavor too. i'm not a gearhead by any stretch though.

The Apollo 13 bx (a13 x [A13 x Space dude]) is very homogenous from what i hear, ive seen reports, mostly lanky sativa growth with low/medium yield of straight up A13 dominant plants. haven't grown this but if it is like the Vortex, it has monster potential. vortex is probably my favorite tga strain ever, top 5 would be Vortex, Chernobyl, Pandora's box, Agent Orange and The Third Dimension. Pandora's box is like a more stable version of JTR with fewer pheno's and a lemon/lime cleaner or candy smell. smells similar to chernobyl for sure. 3d is one of my new favorites, some long flowering pheno's and some short flowering pheno's. i prefer the shorter flowering since the longer flowering ones are a bit inconvenient in comparison.

Don't come crying here when your TGA goes bad, I can't recommend any of those only one I've grown on that list was JTR looked great, grew big harmed in the 5/6th week. I am finishing up a Deep Purple run so far I had 2 fucked mutants 2 great looking indices and a self topped plant. The 2 great looking ones were males at least 1 of the 2 mutants are male (and I'm 99% the 2nd mutant is male a day or 2 from now will tell the tale) So far 3/5 males looking like 4/5 and 1 left. Dairy Queen I had good luck with, 3/5 females 2 of those were good cuts, I kept a C99 leaning lemon pheno.. super resinous, low yield but sticky as shit and makes great hash.

So far from what I've read here, you've got to be pretty lucky to end up with a decent plant from TGA subcool...i'm really falling though for the Vortex and the Apollo13xVortex. But I don't intend to grow 20 plants for just find one to keep...

I haven't grown Apollo 13 BX but plan to in the fall. I'm on my second Pandy run and know a few others who have run her as well. She's my favorite in the TGA lineup so far (JTR, DQ, Querkle also grown). Pandy will probably always be in my garden.

After some thinking I'm gonna move in between Pandoras box (actually not listed) , Vortex and Apollo13xVortex.

i wish i didnt get rid of my pandora clones, its a more spacejill dominant plant, i've seen reports and there are some rare spacedude(spacejill) dominant girls with heavy cherry and lemon flavor, that sounded sick, i did not get one of these out of the 4 females i had, all were very similar like lime/lemon jollyrancher candy or something really sweet but cynthetic smelling as well, probably the jacks cleaner influence. the yields are modest, some females can toss nanners, none of mine did but its happened to others on riu. its an average-good outdoor performer, grew it last summer and it gave me some quality nug, not very good against bud mold like chernobyl/qrazy train/ timewreck/ Agent orange

I think I had the spacedude leaning pheno last time around. I hope I don't regret not cloning that one. This time I have two going outdoors and one looks similar to my first run in leaf structure. Fingers crossed! The first Pandy I grew had diamond crusted rocket shaped buds that were fairly dense. It tasted like overripe cherries and lemons. Yield was pretty good on it too.

I don't know about the bud rot susceptibility. Humid around here rarely gets over 30%.

If I don't get the pheno I'm looking for this time I'll have to pop a full pack and find it. Mrs. Medshed would throw me out on the street if I didn't keep her well stocked in Pandy. ;-)

The thing that worries me is that many people worries about the stability of the TGA gear. The thread alone "TGA strains stable?"...hot issue..

I've followed that thread a bit and can see why it would make you concerned. I think a lot of the haters are reacting to Subcool and his personality more than TGA strains. I wouldn't claim that TGA gear is bulletproof but I have seen a lot of it grown (in person and from following journals) and feel like it is a safe bet. My local crew has grown just about every TGA strain, and made a crosses with many of them, and the general opinion is that it is top notch. There are problem strains in the catalog but the ones you have selected don't seem to be problematic ASFIK.

Other than the stability issues TGA also has a very low germination rate. I'm very confused about TGA seeds, I'm in between that :
1. TGA is a top notch
&
2. TGA is some kind of the next GreenHouseSeeds company..= crap
Who knows? I think maybe its wiser to look elsewhere for safer choices.

Just out of curiosity, how are you germinating your seeds, and would you say you have substantially worse results than other companies? The only TGA I am interested in is the Apollo, and the only experience I have with them is with the two dairy queen and two chernobyl freebies I got from attitude, but all four of those sprouted for me. Actually out of the 8 UFOs, Jubilee freebies, and four varieties of Mandala seeds, the only ones that gave me trouble were one Darkstar (one healthy plant, one very weak one), the Dinafem Auto Cheese (eh, also the only one to have trouble in germ) and some of Mandala's safari mix that have some some awesomely weird leaf mutations. I plant directly in jiffy pellets that I soak in warm distilled water, do not use any kind of dome, and use some cheapo no name seed mat, but I very rarely have germination problems, with nearly anything. More related to the thread, the chernobyl I have is doing great, one female in week one of flowering, and I have one female dairy queen in week 1 as well, but that DQ is an extremely short and bushy plant.
