i would rename chernobyl Bloody Ripper, its the nickname i gave mine. it purples with a bit of red on the leaves
..and also has JTRipper in its genetics, sounds good, but whatever than Chernobyl..i would rename chernobyl Bloody Ripper, its the nickname i gave mine. it purples with a bit of red on the leaves
I jumped on it, not sure I will receive them given their status and demand.i got the impression they were maybe to be sold not given as freebies but there was a miss-communication
and im sure he does the same for all, the guy is serious, jump on it if you want them or else you'll see a smoke report in a few month and you be kicking yourself
The Apollo 13 bx (a13 x [A13 x Space dude]) is very homogenous from what i hear, ive seen reports, mostly lanky sativa growth with low/medium yield of straight up A13 dominant plants. haven't grown this but if it is like the Vortex, it has monster potential. vortex is probably my favorite tga strain ever, top 5 would be Vortex, Chernobyl, Pandora's box, Agent Orange and The Third Dimension. Pandora's box is like a more stable version of JTR with fewer pheno's and a lemon/lime cleaner or candy smell. smells similar to chernobyl for sure. 3d is one of my new favorites, some long flowering pheno's and some short flowering pheno's. i prefer the shorter flowering since the longer flowering ones are a bit inconvenient in comparison...and also has JTRipper in its genetics, sounds good, but whatever than Chernobyl..
Anyone for the Apollo13xVortex? Vortex itself contains genetics from the Apollo13, sounds stable to bcross with it, I think.
To bad luck...what have grow and done well?Don't come crying here when your TGA goes bad, I can't recommend any of those only one I've grown on that list was JTR looked great, grew big harmed in the 5/6th week. I am finishing up a Deep Purple run so far I had 2 fucked mutants 2 great looking indices and a self topped plant. The 2 great looking ones were males at least 1 of the 2 mutants are male (and I'm 99% the 2nd mutant is male a day or 2 from now will tell the tale) So far 3/5 males looking like 4/5 and 1 left. Dairy Queen I had good luck with, 3/5 females 2 of those were good cuts, I kept a C99 leaning lemon pheno.. super resinous, low yield but sticky as shit and makes great hash.
After some thinking I'm gonna move in between Pandoras box (actually not listed) , Vortex and Apollo13xVortex.I haven't grown Apollo 13 BX but plan to in the fall. I'm on my second Pandy run and know a few others who have run her as well. She's my favorite in the TGA lineup so far (JTR, DQ, Querkle also grown). Pandy will probably always be in my garden.
Just out of curiosity, how are you germinating your seeds, and would you say you have substantially worse results than other companies? The only TGA I am interested in is the Apollo, and the only experience I have with them is with the two dairy queen and two chernobyl freebies I got from attitude, but all four of those sprouted for me. Actually out of the 8 UFOs, Jubilee freebies, and four varieties of Mandala seeds, the only ones that gave me trouble were one Darkstar (one healthy plant, one very weak one), the Dinafem Auto Cheese (eh, also the only one to have trouble in germ) and some of Mandala's safari mix that have some some awesomely weird leaf mutations. I plant directly in jiffy pellets that I soak in warm distilled water, do not use any kind of dome, and use some cheapo no name seed mat, but I very rarely have germination problems, with nearly anything. More related to the thread, the chernobyl I have is doing great, one female in week one of flowering, and I have one female dairy queen in week 1 as well, but that DQ is an extremely short and bushy plant.Other than the stability issues TGA also has a very low germination rate.
