So here are the updated photos. These are old so I will get more again soon. These first two are the ones about to come down. In the back is 2 Ghost, 1 Sour D. The 5 small ones are Bubba Kush. Pretty happy with these they are so frosty and dense.
This is the Sour Kush. Did a res change last night for them. They should start packing on the weight this week. This is when it starts to get fun. These girls are way to tall.

Hey Mr McPotts,
nope run the nutes the same. Only thing i did different was i didnt use Bud Ignitor and that was a huge mistake.

So took down the 4 x 4 area looks good. Yield wasnt super but the "Bubba Kush" really sucked yield wise. If it was all Sour D and Ghost it would have been much higher. Here are the pics

Bought the netting from my hydro shop. It was only 8 or 9 bucks. I have made my own before but it is well worth the money.

Here is the Sour D that is just starting to flush.
I thought it was pretty cool how the buds that were to close to the light and got bleached out continued to grow. I wonder how they will smoke?

What do you mean "spindle of green twist ties"? Like an entire spool of twist ties? From a hardware store? I have never seen this. This netting was pretty strong, but the holes where to big for my liking, i will look for the twist ties.

Looks great -- I think from looking at your final pics they could've used some additional Mg supplementation for the LEDs.

Nice plants sid, looks like a great harvest, Bleached bud is not a problem when smoking, vaporizing, cooking etc, its the same bud just lacks chlorophil.

If curing is all about letting the chlorophyll break down, and the tops of these are bleached out with no chlorophyll, do these tops not need to cure?

Subbed.. which breeder made the sour kush?? I just grew out some from Reserve Privada - i hated their OG Kush but the Sour Kush was the most spectacular looking plant... unfortunately I had to cut it early due to shutting my grow down temporarily for security reasons... huge bush, looked like it was gonig to be phenomenal - definitely ordering more later - this one was grown all under LED as well (blackstar) - that's a 2.5g water bottle in the one pic for size comparison

Looking good.
You still want to cure. The buds need to go through decarboxylation. Inside the jar it once it reaches 122 degrees the buds release gasses which makes the thc psychoactive. with out a good cure the buds will lose potency.
plus I think it brings out better taste. I open the jar once a day for the first few days. Then once every 4 or 5 days. Keeping it closed that long seems to make it more pungent. I stumbled onto that method by accident. After I brained out and figured out what I did right that first time. I kept doing it ever since. As hard as it is not go in the jar just even to look in awe at the dank you created.. Leave a couple buds in small jar for medicating purposes...

Ya i plan on curing. The good stuff I actually try and cure for a month. After hanging for a week I put everything in the big 2.5 gallon jars with the Boveda Packs and then open the jar for 15 minutes in the morning and night for a week. Waiting is pretty tuff, I think it is actually harder for my friends to wait then me though, haha
