The resolution wasnt quite ashigh as i wanted, i think i will try and shoot a photo every hour next time.

plus I think it brings out better taste. I open the jar once a day for the first few days. Then once every 4 or 5 days. Keeping it closed that long seems to make it more pungent. I stumbled onto that method by accident. After I brained out and figured out what I did right that first time. I kept doing it ever since. As hard as it is not go in the jar just even to look in awe at the dank you created.. Leave a couple buds in small jar for medicating purposes...

how do your jars get 122 degrees? that is pretty hot. it doesnt need to decarb to cure.

Sidd- have you tried the bleached bud yet?

Hey Dank,
I havn't tried it from this grow, but last grow I had the tip of one bud do the same and smoked it. It smoked the same, I doubt you could tell the difference if your eyes were closed. Everyone really likes the look though. I was really surprised how big those nugs grew with being that bleached out.

it occurs naturally. imagine being in an air tight room filled moisture and humidity and no outside air at all.. all that humidity in the jar will bring the temp up. Yes buds need to decarboxylate. they won't sweat out chlorophyll either if they don't decarboxylate. thats what curing is .....

it does seem to make sense but than why isnt the jar really hot to the touch. or when you open the jar you would feel extreme heat coming out. and why do people decarb when they make edibles? it just doesnt make sense to me.

Sorry it took so long to get the final, but i have been crazy busy and met a girl! whoo, go me!
for real though the final weight well dried was 403 g, so a bit lighter than i was hoping but all in all pretty good for that strain.

The smoke is awesome. Smooth and strong. Havn't smoked a bleached bud yet but i will get one of my trimmers who is a super connoisseur and all day every day smoker to do a blind taste test and see what he thinks.

I am going to try and run 18 blueberry plants on two of my 4x4 trays with both Platinums and see if I can hit over 3 pounds. I have done that with HPS and blueberry so we will see. Going to take a few weeks off but I will keep you guys posted.

Got a round of Blueberry cuttings, so we will see how heavy of a yield i can get with a heavy yielding strain. I have done 1.75 with this strain under 1000 HPS lets see what happens

Nice grow, dude. About how far did you keep the light from the canopy during flower? Thinking about picking up the BD 360

I use advanced nutrients AB for my base plus Jacks Classic

I keep the light 18-21 inches up, but i ran out of space so the light got to close.

The blueberry is from a friend, not sure on the breeder, i will see if she knows

well I had a few drivers blow out so I wont be doing a journal this round. I will give an update once i get the drivers fixed and then I will do a round with the Blueberry and then we will see how heavy an LED can produce.
