Ever since I was young, I have disliked revolvers. Idk if its the low round capacity or the outdated design.. they are just no good to me. Sliding the magazine up and pulling back the slide gives me a feeling just short of an orgasm. And .223? I prefer 5.56.

You and I have different tastes. I really like how a revolver is 1) inherently more accurate than an autoloader, especially a line-bored revolver, 2) can fire a very strong and very gentle loading from the same weapon and case (and unlike autoloaders they simply thrive on diverse hand-cast bullets), and 3) doesn't spray brass. That really matters when you have exactly 100 cases of an unusual and quite expensive specification. I like the things, esp. modern single-action platforms as realized by Freedom Arms. Poetry in metal.
As for .223 and 5.56, they are essentially the same cartridge. They are interchamberable.
