I surely do. I even paid taxes during the 10 years I didn't pay what I said I owed. The point was to balance everything so that they could not or would not attempt to collect and in so doing, reset the clock. I pay what I owe now and am unwilling to go through what I did in order to not pay - but again, I never went to jail and in the end I didn't have to pay a single cent of that money

Even if you never worked at all, you can get social Security and Disability, both of which automatically make you eligible for food stamps...so...I am unsure where those people get off complaining at all...since they are taking advantage of the same system of handouts as people that are on foodstamps...
What pisses me off is all the people that are on lazy Disability...especially too fat to work disability...
Well we see that you weigh 5oo lbs...you obviously can't work, so stay home on the couch and we will just send you money for life, and food so you don't go hungry...

I am sure that there are a lot of people that are on assistance that shouldn't be, that don't need it...
In my area the biggest issue I see is people that work under the table that get foodstamps because they don't claim that income they actually get...these people are the worst, I think, not only because they are abusing the system and taking benefits someone else might really need, and they are able to do this successfully just because they don't pay in...so they don't pay in, and yet they continue to draw more and more...but pay in nothing, even though they are generating income for themselves.
Like ok, if you are a baller drug dealer, you don't need foodstamps...you can buy some food with that drug money and we both know it...! Don't keep going to get help when you don't need it..
the system would work just like it is supposed to if so many people didn't misuse it. I mean there are lots of jobs you might have that just don't pay enough to make ends meet, so you get foodstamps, but you continue to pay into the programs through your continued work...

Forcing huge companies like walmart to pay their employees a wage they could live on would be a start! I mean it doesn't make sense for these people to work for such a lucrative business but still have to go get foodstamps.

you don't...um... see the irony here? You don't see something odd in Republicans, who are all for spending cuts claiming that defense spending cuts will ruin the economies of several states? I did refuse to pay, I did not come out and openly say that but I did not seek an offer in compromise, I did not throw myself upon the mercy of the IRS, I simply abided by IRS rules, in short, I made an extreme effort to avoid doing anything that would reset that CSD clock.
