air cooled lights V non air cooled lights.

i am thinking about using air cooled shades. ( not cool tubes )

anybody got an inkling on how much cooler my 10` x 6` x 6` room will be with my 4 x 600w lights.

i am using 6" fans just now.

at the moment it is about 91f (33c) just now in the room...... but it is not hot outside......yet.

i want to get the temps down as much as possible.

has anybody else went from normal shades to air cooled and noticed a great difference.

there is a big difference in heat. i prefer non aircooled parabolic reflectors but you have to have plenty of cooling power. if you go aircooled make sure to get quality reflectors and use aluminum tape at all joints so you dont suck out the enviroment and odor.
ps. are they pink?

10x6x6 room and 4 600ws?
You either need to run AC constantly or you need to aircool the lights.

Aircoolings going to be cheaper

i think air cooled sheds like 10-15 degrees with the proper ventilation and exhaust

Run a straight through fan on ya hoods or tubes (higher cfm the better) , pull fresh cold air over the bulbs not filtered air from ya grow area. Be carefull where you exhaust to as IR camera will pick up heat sig in a flash if vented straight outside.

this is great mister, i was going to exhaust it straight through a hole i cut in the brickwork at the top of my unused central heating chimney in my attic, it was used in the seventies to the nineties as an air intake for blow central heating, do you think that would be ok? heat leaving a central heating chimney.
do you think that a cop in a helicopter would be wise enough to know that heat couldn`t be expelled from here.

we have an instant hot water and radiater heating boiler now with exhaust going through kitchen wall to outside.

Do it. If anybody gets on that roof for anything (other than you that is) he won't be there long. Besides - old creosote, ash and smoke solids will warm up and help kill any odor. The further down the chimney the better. Make sure no birds or squirrels nests are in there too. Aim it so water coming in the chimney doesn't get in your air line and put screen over it to keep critters out.

Air cooled shades are better than cool tubes because it the winter you can run them bare. The plants get more light and you can use the heat.

A lot !!.... It depends on the temp of the incoming air going to the hoods.

where do you guys live that they still use IR cameras to bust ppl. Last time I checked they need a warrant for that in the U.S. How the fuck would they know you are growing weed because one room in your house is hot.....perhaps you have a sauna, steam room, or tanning bed. Maybe you like to sit in your bed and sweat your ass of becuse that gets you off. That is why they need the warrant.

i am not worried about the smell, for christ sake there is about 60 feet between the chimney and the ground.
it is the heat being expelled i am worried about.
will it show up........

maybe you need some big fucking rapist come smashing through your front door and fuck the living daylights out of you after sticking the muzzle of a magnum 45 up your big fat nostril and saying...... SUCK IT you little fuck,, cos you like to read out the fucking scottish law where they are allowed to fly around in helicopters with cameras that detect heat day or night. just because your country does not give a fuck if you blow each others heads off with firearms ours do.
