Looking great nugs. I know that freshly picked homegrown carrot smell you speak of, I'm getting it off the vortex. that mixed with mango / snapple lemonade to be exact. I'm trimming purple plushberry today, trimmed the pink lady pheno friday, and taking down the vortex today as well. it'll be 56 days for the vortex and plush.

cool.....i am glad you get it too (carrot), i was beginning to think i was losing it.....thanks for your harvest number on the vortex....i am at 45 days today.....hope she swells a little more...pretty loose.

never have i been so excited about a plant.....aos (bcs pheno)...shes got it all.....she is 31 inches tall, and the colas are 16 inches long, and i can't wait for them to stack.....and lemon berry funk.....awesome....photos don't show it, but a fair ammount of pink/purp coming through the calyxs.

And already full of color. Even the purplest of my querkles that I grew last time had nothing on that. Definitely got a keeper there if the smoke is half as good as she looks.
 
beautiful aos! u told me before u water like every other day on the 7 gal pots. how much water would you say you use? a gallon per plant?
 
......and this is 16.....just got her brazilian at the spa!....she is clean and mean, and has a nice even canopy......i ran her trimings through my omega juicer for the first time....i have been doing a lot of research on raw canna, and i am hoping it clears up this fungus infection i have in my gut from taking so many anti-biotics for Lyme....

yep, almost exactly that......also, i am done using 5 gal smarts.....there is a hug difference between 5's and 7's, esp. with yield........7's work really well for the size of plant i prefer.....i like short, stout plants of nothing but cola......if you didn't know by now!
 
wow man that is impressive. nice even canopy. im starting to wonder if my aos pheno isnt the bcs one. it seems to be to me just cause its so indica in growth and high and it matches subcools smell describtion, berry citrus incense funk with a waxy undertone. but there is zero purple or pink, not even on the fan leaves like i get with my chernobyls. and my temps drop at night so i dunno.

i have been going from 1's to 5's and i was thinking bumbing up to 2's to 7's might help get my yeilds up. I am also getting ready to make som super soil which im sure will help too. atm im using FFOF/FFLW and roots organics nute line-up.

i also have a jtr pheno with zero color at 45 days.....she is dank as hell.....i will update her in a few days...i used to use ffof and roots liquids, and did pretty good with them.....super soil is a breeze to use....all those bottles can be a lot of work....and expensive too.
 
here is a little teaser of whats to come...this is a lower bud of my aos (jtr) pheno at 45 days......she is starting to shine....she will be my best yielder of the four strains...(aos, flav, vortex, qt) though i do have one urkle dom. qt thats getting pretty phat.:hump:

......so Sundays work really well for me to do some photo update work on this thread, so that is what i plan to do....things are getting really busy here, but i have off work sundays....so mark your calenders!......so 6 of 6 on the ace cuts shoebox style.....

main-lined kush run.....i culled my dna cataract plant already, and gave the other to my buddy....mine was lanky and fucked up, looked like a hempy male.....so in to the compost it went....i don't fuck around when it comes to plants that are goofy from the start.....so sorry dna, but your girl already didn't make the grade.......i have to say though, that i like the dna sour kush plant the best.......i wish i had room to crack my ripped and qush now, but my legal threshold is maxed...

then the last pic is 8 new cuts of the kushes and my d-train#3.....i was in a hurry when i took them this morning, and they were thick stemed, and i forced them into the rooters, they all got really wilty, and i thought i was going to lose them, but they all perked up, so we will see who makes it.....if they all pull through, man, the shoebox method is the real deal....thats about it for this week.........flower shots coming next week.......stay tuned, nugs
