Bbyy got a question on the c99 x haze. The guys are popping lots of balls, flower clusters of them. The females have even starting to show obvious sex. They're under 24 hour light. Will they drop pollen and seed the females?

if balls are formin then yes , they will shed polen soon , if they look sswolen and the size of seeds then id cut em down and bin em

Yeah and be awful careful... if those suckers sense that they are about to die/get stressed, they are gonna blow big loads all over skeet skeet skeet

i can't remember if i mentioned my romulan got one of it's main colas split in half... the cat knocked a box on top of her. She's duct taped together now and even though she split over an inch down the stalk she isn't showing any negative signs yet after a few days... i gave her a good watering yesterday that will probably help too. She's still so small and not stretching a lot.

BBYY or Dizzle - how would you choose which male to keep to make f2 seeds? Are these supposed to be autoflowers? They're sexing under 24 hour light, not sure I can clone them

How long have you been vegging? plants will sex naturally under 24/0 after 6 weeks or so. Also, I( choose my male by Smell, flower production, growth pattern and basicalyl the same as a keeper girl. just use the sexier one if your gonna do it.

Thanks. Not sure how long. My Tom clones have never showed sex until after a week of 12/12 so not used to it. Can I still take cuts and clone them so I can keep it around. Or do I ditch the male and breed back to the mother?

Looks like the male romulan already dropped some pollen so might have seeded plants again doh.

All the females grew up to the light even though I was hitting it with koolbloom trying to stop vertical growth

Hey man, Sorry ive been a bit bleached outta this thread. I check it every few days bro! If you ever need something right awya PM me, ALl i really do is check the cave and the sativa house but thats usually it.

Im a bit shocked to hear that the males are doing that in flower. THough i never keep my plants under 24 n usually get em in flo when they presex.

It does sound a bit normal that thouse females might show a pistil here n there but wont do what the males are doing.

For the males pollinating in veg its sure is possible and its possible for pollen to stay around a bit ad still pollinate later in flower

Now what I would do with this, Because I or really none of use have grown this g13 x c99 I dont know about the males, I would collect pollen off each male and use em to pollenate a few females Then the f2's will be pretty deverse and you will have alot more seeds to have fun with and then you'll be ready to make stable picks to get in f3 f4

or keep a clone of the female g99 and I can get ya more seeds so you can keep growing em and find good males and females. It takes about three grows for me to fully understand the strain and can actually start making predictions and assumptions,.

Thanks BBYY. I'm running limited on room unfortunately. The Flower cab will be empty come June 30th :/ Need a new one. Need to take cuttings and clone them. Probably have to kill off the original plants and keep the clones around to save space. Plus having issues with N on them I think it is, turning light green to yellow to white

So should I pick one of the f1 females to keep to back cross or should I just pick f2's to inbreed?

Not sure what traits I should look for to pick for breeding. If I'm just throwing them as pollen chucking and growing f2s I don't need to keep clones, then I might be able to go ahead and pull this off.

Hey owl. I knocked some balls off the male Tom and put on a paper towel. Let them dry. Not sure if I'll get viable pollen or not, some of the flowers were already open so might have another seeded 6ield wouldn't mind a few seeds in the bb since that's why I want the pollen. I got an extra male clone I think if you really want viable pollen guarenteed.

Im gonna stick with this Basket Case strain, Thinking it needs some back crossing to ak and thinking im gonnna cube it abck to the ak and try to get my ak in seed form, or 99% like it

I can kinda do both, go for a 97% w/e it is seed form like the mother ak just keep crossing back to the mom, and then maybe threw a series of inbreeding get the basketcase a nice mix of both parents. But Im kinda disappointed in how they are growing for everyone , Hope they flower better or HC's turns out good
