Cool thanks. I just boiled some water and put it up there in 2 big containers. The humidity rised almost instantly. Thanks again for the help. I will update in a few days after I give them a little nutes heavier in phosphours.

68 right now
I just saw 2 threads with plants about the same age as mine and they are much bigger and have much bigger stalks. Not sure why mine wont grow that fast. I have bought everything I need to buy minus CO2 but they don't have C02 either. For the first week and a half I didn't have the big fan so maybe that is why their behind a little bit. I will check them tomorrow to see if they need transplanting but the pot is much bigger then the plants are now. Sort of puzzled??

The plants don't look bad but they are slightly curling up and some of the leaf tips have a shine to them. Not sure what it is or how to fix it? I have added epsom salts (because I had some rust spots on lower leaves) about a week ago but really no changes. What do your temps get up to in your tent and in the room outside of the tent? Are you bringing in fresh air from outside or just using passive intake from the room you have it in? I have a lot of money invested in this and really don't want anything to happen. I could obviously recoup most of my money on ebay but I want buds lol.
hey, my room gets about 25celcius (so 75 to 80 fahrenheit) but outside tent is about 15 to 20. i occasionally have the window open but hardly ever so its just my little fan blowing the same air about. for the first week or so my plants didnt grow too much but i think its because the plants work on building good roots for first weeks. I dont really care much about ph and humidity or anything like that because i dont think its too important but each to their own. how often do u water them??

hey Scotty i don't think that 14" is a safe distance while under hid lighting for young sprouts, if anything go up at least 6 more inches. don't get me wrong as they get older 14'" could be ideal, but for now i wouldn't recommend it. there is a such thing as too much light and that can be just as problematic as overfeeding.
as for the humidity being that your exhausting the air it's going to be hard for you to keep it up. if anything check your outside or ambient temps in the house and if it's in the 60's i would just use it to pull the air in just to cool the the bulb. if you are on some type of lighting schedule other than 24/7 the hours that the lights are off you can spray them with ph'd water, that also helps to raise the humidity.
as time goes on you will learn on kinds of tricks to fatten up your stalks, but the best suggestion i can give you is just to put a fan on them, starting on a low setting, and as they get bigger adjust the speed accordingly.
i see someone suggested folair feeding, be careful. folair feeding (feeding the plant directly) can be tricky if you don't know what you're doing and shit can go bad very fast. from my understanding most people folair feed to fix deficiencies majorities of the time. some do it before they take cuttings, after flushing their media or do it as part of a regular feeding regime. the point is they know why and when to folair feed, they just don't do it just because someone suggested it.
another thing, which is probably the most important, is to keep your ph in range with your choice of grow media. ph can make or break you. i'm surprise no one hasn't even mentioned this. if you're doing all organics you can disregard this, but if not ph definitely is a key factor.

Probably every 3-4 days when they dry out. I water until it run out the bottom. Maybe I should water less but more frequent. I did experiment with my central AC today and if I keep it 73 in my house I can keep the light on 100% and it gets 82 in the tent.

Yea I was thinking about PH. I bought a nice PH test kit today. I mean it's nice for my budget. It will be here by Wed. so I will check run-off then. I am not doing organics....since I raised the light to 100% I moved it up a little to about 20". The crappy light meter I have says it's about a 1,000 (not sure what the 1,000 is measured in) and they look to be getting some bright light.

what i do is fill up lets say 7 2litre bottles with water and leave the lids off for 24 hours(the releases all the chlorine and shiz) then put the lids back on and use it as i need it. the guy in my local grow shop told me not to bother with ph when using soil. u seem to be watering about the same as me so im really stumped as to why ure plants are smaller. lets just hope they have a little growth burst and take over soon  .

Thanks....I think I may have a problem with my PH though. I just got home from work and noticed that some of the new growth has little black/purpleish spots. Maybe a phosphorus deficiancy or maybe just messed up PH but wont know until Wednesday when the better kit gets here. I have better food then I had before and will probably feed/water them little tomorrow. I am keeping temps @ 80 with light at 100%. For the first 1.5 weeks - 2 weeks I did not have a great fan and maybe that is why they didn't take off like your did. I will try to put up some recent pics of what I talked about above.

Here are some new pics...I am getting black spots on 1 of the plants leaves. One of the plants looks great. The other 3 look like there lagging a little. I think I may have some PH/Nute problems. I am so new at this......I have added Epsom Salts to all of them in the soil and the leaves but that was about a week ago. The last time I watered I used Vinager to drop the PH of one and then realized it was a little too low. That is the one that is getting the black spots. Also, a couple of plants have purple branches coming off the stem but I dont know if you can see that in the pics. Any more suggestions???? One more thing I noticed was a couple gnats (just a couple). I haven't looked up what they can do to plants but maybe the spots are from them?

At 3 weeks they can easily handle your 600 watt light at full strength
More light=more and faster growth

If you're gonna stick w/ MG soil get used to the gnats, they come free in every bag if that junk. Get better soil if possible, I'd suggest Roots or Foxfarm.

Maybe low PH is locking out the Phosphorus?

"Phosphorus deficiencies exhibit slow growing, weak and stunted
plants with dark green or purple pigmentation in older leaves and stems."

Yea I only had it lower because I couldn't control the temps at 100%. I did some testing and as long as I keep my house at 74 or below I can keep it at 80 or below in the tent. I have had it at 100% for 2 days now. The rest of the time it was at 50%. They are 23 days from breaking soil today.

The curled leaves on all of them are bothering me too. I have tried everything to stop that but it seems all new growth eventually will curl? Not sure what else to do. The only thing I haven't done is monitored my PH often but will start on Wednesday.

Getting new soil is no problem but how would I go about changing it? Do I just pull the plant out and knock the MG off od all the roots? Also, will that shock them in any way if I change the soil on them? If not, what soil do you recommend?

I missed the recommedation. Anyway, can you tell me how I go about changing it. Remember, I have never done this before. Not sure if I knock all the MG off or leave a little and put in the Roots or Foxfarm.
