Traveling with weed from california to mass via plane

Please excuse the newbie-Ness, but I'm flying from san Jose, ca to boston, ma tonight and I have a gram I wanted to bring back. I was thinking of hallowing out some cigarettes and putting it in there and replacing the exposed end with the tobacco and bringing it with me in my carry on stuff? I've never done it before and I know its just a gram, but its fantastic weed. Help!

If you are checking luggage thats where I'd hide it. I used to keep it on my body, but out of LAX everyone gets a body scan.

They went through my bags coming to cali, I'm assuming because I had a hair drier and flat iron in it and the cords probably set something off? I also consodered putting it in a packet of my jeans that's in my luggage and not bring it on the plane. I've done it by accident before where it looked like dirt or deal in the bottom of my purse....

I've never heard of it! And I would smoke it all, but its cali medical and they dont have anything like that back in Maine

I wouldn't recommend traveling with it but I've hollowed out cigs and packed em with bud and never had a problem with it. Better yet use cloves - will taint the taste of your bud a bit more but they hide scent pretty fucking well.

it's not worth jail time for one gram.....you woud be sitting in the tank HATING YOURSELF...plus once you have a record your fucked...

Does one gram get you jail time? If he's caught in CA it would likely just be a ticket... And it's not like you go through security on the other side. Of course I don't recommend taking any risks.

Scanners are measuring differences in density. Pot and tobacco are very similar so as long as you pack it just as tightly as the tobacco is packed there is no reason they should see a difference. Not to mention TSA isn't searching for tiny tiny amount of bud - they're searching for bombs, weapons, and as a second thought large amounts of drugs.

One gram is surprisingly easy to hide among luggage if you take some time to place it properly. What I do is I make sure to grind up all the weed and not leave it in nugget form. I usually flatten the gram baggie so that it is very thin and then you stick it somewhere in the bag so that it will be standing vertically. When the xray scans your bag it will do it from the top-down and if your baggie is very thin and upright then you should be through airport security with your security nugs on person. I've only done this a handful of times though, good luck!

Id use my remaining time in Cali, and try to just get u some kief pops and sweet jane's brownie's and de-label them, and mebye mix them with a buncha other similar-looking treats, and bang bang, skeet, skeet... I did it from San Fran, to Dallas-Ft-Worth, AND then back to Memphis... No problamos... Seeds... I wanna say I just had them well-hidden in my checked baggage, and they were still there, un-touched, when I got back home... Thatz what I did, and probly what Id do again... Id also smoke that g up before I hit LAX, and enjoy the ride... U will be much more at ease, and u will be nicely stoned for the whole trip with medical lollipops, and brownies, and the capabilities to re-create that dankness when u do get back... A six month wait on sum fire-ass homegrown to grow, dry, and cure up beats six months or even 6 minutes, in a jailhouse, anywhere, in my book...

Not being nervous will lesson the suspicion I'm a young male, generally unkempt and I've flown with my meds wearing Che Guevara t-shirts and "fly high - support the demand" tshirts while reading hydro magazines and passing out cookies... I'm not saying any of that is the smart thing to do, but as long as you're not acting all crazy or super suspicious they really don't care.

The stuff I've accidentally brought onto planes... hehe. Had a security guy pull a dirty pipe out of my bag ounce, smelled it, told me it smelled great, and put it back. I want to say that's happened more than once... I get sloppy when flying in state.
