glad to be of service. if it helps i got the seeds from marijuana-seeds.nl. auto ak47 feminized. they were £33 for 5 but are bogof and 5 free master kush non fem'd. i have been giving them full strength nutes for the last 2 feeds as well and they seem ok for it. im using canna terra flores. just decided to go have a gander at the roots and there are millions. i can barely see the soil. guess they would do better in bigger pots.

well after much deliberation ive decided to go 24/0 with the lights and have the fan on 8/4/8/4 to mix it up a bit. the plants seem to like having the light on continuously as the 2 bushy plants have grown a fair bit since yesterday. they are now taller than the other 2. the smell is getting a lot stronger now. gonna smoke a bit of jack i had curing in the cupboard to cover the smell i think.

I'll be placing an order sometime soon and ak47 is definitely on my short list of strains to get.
Your pots sizes seem OK to me. Obviously the bigger they are the better yield you'll get buy I see people using 1-2G pots all the time. For the bigger plants (3-4 OZ) I think you'd definitely want 5-7G pots. Unfortunately unless I'm only going to grow one plant that's not an option for me at this time.

Yeah? I've been arguing with myself recently trying to convince myself to go 24/0 and I may even do that for the first week or two on my next grow but more and more I feel like I'd like to save some cheddar by going 20/4 or ideally, 18/6. From what I've read the yield difference isn't very noticeable.

Keep us informed of how you're doing.

thats exactly my issue. space. i have a .37m2 space to work with. its 1.4m high so it helps to stretch them up a bit. also they dont really cost that much to run (CFL) so its not an issue really.got a nice few baby bud pics. gonna put them up now. these are taken today (day 45). what do we think????

Lol - Sounds like you're in the same boat as me. I thought height would be my issue but I'd gladly spare some height for a little more floor space. hehe.

Looking good I like the node spacing. I'm looking forward to seeing them start to frost!
Keep the plant porn coming!

Isn't it nice? I've got a northern lights x big bud that's in it's last week or two and it smells fruity as shit. I love it!

On the flip side I've got a grand daddy kush that is just emanating a musky stinky-ness. what a difference.

Nah, No journal's yet. I've been lurking and gleaning as much information as I could while doing my first grow.

Next grow will be fully documented. I'm extremely eager to get started. I wish I had more space so I could just buy a new tent and get'er going!

Nice looking plant's sir
why thank you. im hoping they taste good as well :)

you could but I dont see what the added benefit would be. A scrog is something that I'd like to try down the line but that is definitely going to be done with a photo period plant.
thats good to know. just got myself a screen from wickes and have 4 photo period seedlings making their way through my auto jungle. been looking at an oxy pot setup. they are only £25 with all the bits. just need nutes and a decent ph meter. been looking at the 250g crops from one plant using dwc and scrog.

QUICK UPDATE!!! plants are coming along nicely. will get some pics a bit later and put em up. had a massive clear out of my grow space and rearranged a bit. i had all my plants in a large gravel tray which ive now removed. ive raised the fans and im in the process of building a custom reflector that covers the entire top of the space. ive given the plants a bit more room and raised my seedlings a bit so they grow a bit quicker. also repotted my seedlings. had to ditch one of them a while back. showed sex after 3 weeks. so ive taken another WW bagseed and stuck it in the soil, popped after 24 hours so majorly impressed. it shot right up last night. its 2" tall already. hope its not another male. im hoping that once the auto's are done i can switch the lights down and have 2 out of the 4 photos im growing be female. im gonna scrog them as well to get to get the most out of my setup.

Hey man. Maybe not a scrog but LST them for sure. You can still get a big, fat main cola, and you can increase the size of those side nugs too. Lookin' good so far. :peace:

im letting the autos grow vertically. just to get my bearings. thought a nice couple oz will tie me over until i get a couple decent photo's going. im gonna pick the 2 best (hopefully all female) from the seedlings i have going. they got to they're 5th node and i have topped them to get 4 main colas. ill probably start to lst them in a week or 2 as they have been vegging for a couple weeks now and i dont want 5ft monsters lol.

update!!! one of my girls is sick :( she is losing foliage like anything. the leaves are going brown and rusty coloured. its not on any new growth so im not overly concerned. after lots of reading i think its a mag def so i watered with some epsom salts today to see if it helps. quite annoying as the others seem to be fine. although there is a lovely fruity smell coming from the cupbard now. smells kinda like fresh cut fruit. mmmmm. will try and get some pics on later (few camera issues). the buds are starting to get frosty so im assuming the will start to swell soon. almost at 8 weeks now so not long left. probably gonna leave them for another 3 weeks. i have also stopped giving them nutes now and have switched to molasses (black treacle) in the water.

well i have taken the plunge. just spent £120 on a 400w hps lamp, reflector and ballast and a 4" inline fan with ducting and a carbon filter. should arrive late next week. i know it wont help me much this time around but im gonna mount it the day it comes and see if my plants bloom. will defo get some pics up today. as i need to water a few of them. any advice on how to keep my small space cool when using that hps??

nice 1st grow! I see you've got a 400hps coming anyway and in post 10 ya added more 2700k's, just curious why u started with 2 6500k's and 1 2700k? Wouldn't it be better the other way around with auto's like 2 x 2700k's and 1 6500k or just 3 straight 2700k's from the start? Just curious about cfl's and auto's indoors :) +rep anyway
