what do people think of this product???? im thinking of using it to ph my water. apparently it automatically sets water ph to 6.5. no pissing about with up and down lol

oh yeah, just to let people know i have planted another bean today. auto double big bud. and i replanted my ww bagseed into a 10" round pot. same as the big bud. ive just got a huge cardboard box and stuck a light fixture in there with 2x 23w cfls and i have started training the white widow with some lst before i get her (<<<fingers crossed) under the scrog screen.
will take a pic later to show the box i have made up and how the training has started.

Have an photos of the offending plants? hard to determine whats wrong without being able to see them. At least, for me.
Wish I could give you an opinion but I use soil and havent done any real reading on hydro. Did you do a search on the forums for it? Maybe ask the hydro guys?

yeah i have some pics. think i have determined it as heat stress. top of my canopy was over 32c where as lower in the box is sitting at 25c.
and also i was gonna use that ph thing to fix my tap water. not a good idea then?

Oh yeah, That looks like heat stress to me. Looks like you got that under control though.
I have no opinion on the PH balancer though, I just dont know anything about it to tell ya to use it or not.

ok well i have some news. last night i got ant in me pants and decided to chop one of my girls to make room for 2 more 
. got 1 x auto big bud in the soil waiting to pop and 1 x auto double big bud in sil waiting to pop. started lst on my ww bagseed and stuck it in a huge pot. wet weight this early on minus all the trim and twigs was 15.8g so really disappointed there. was really hoping for more then a henry from her but oh well. she was the smallest and looked ratty. too much ruderalis in her pheno i think. have her in my drying box at the minute. will show people pics of the box as its custom made.
if u live in the uk you will recognise this
its a food waste recycling box. i cut a small hole in the back and hotglued an xbox 360 fan into the hole drilled a few holes in the top and sides for intake and wired it up to a usb cable. ive got a strip of chicken wire the same width as the box and folded it a few times to make a rack inside that comes out in one go. scuse the black lines in the last pic. that had my town council name on. id rather people didnt know where i was, what do people think???

ive chopped 2 of em now. they would have been 56 days old today. dont wanna embarrass myself by posting pics. got about 50g wet off of the both. no they werent ready but ive majorly stunted them and they werent doing well. id rather cut my losses and get 2 fresh ones in there. got 2 diff big bug autos germing in the soil and needed some space for them and the bigger pot i put my ww plant in. i will take a few pics of the dried bud when it goes into the jars. there isnt much there though. the first ones buds were very light and fluffy and didnt have a sticky coating. the second one i just cut was a lot nicer denser nugs. nothing big and beautiful though.

I hear ya man, that's how I felt about my NLxBB auto. I didnt know it was an auto so i started to LST for a few weeks. At one point it just stopped growing and started frosting over. Thats when I knew I had screwed the pooch on that plant at least. I was embarrassed as shit when I harvested it. it sure was an ugly plant but she sure did frost nice and smell great.
At one point my 7 remaining plants (all photo) started to explode in size and I panicked as I watched my grow space disappear. I wanted to to just chop 5 plants and go small! lol. I held back and ended up getting a bigger tent but you know all this... Im babbling.
Anyway! At least ya got 2 more going, keep us posted!

well they are trimmed and dried. got 10 grams dried from the 2 runt plants and 67.7g of trim 
. what shit. got my jewellers loupe today. its odd looking at weed that close up.
that was about as close as i could get. also the auto double big bud popped today
just waiting on the other to pop out the soil. cant wait. i love the taste of big bud..

Don't feel too bad, You chopped those girls mucho early so you can't expect too much. At least you have the other 2 going now.
Yeah, I love the microscopic shots. the 100x is real fun. Which loupe did you end up getting? Was it that 40x one? I believe ya mentioned it here somewhere but for the life of me I cannot remember.

i just stick em straight in the soil. no need to muck about with risky transplants then
I did a few transplants with my photo grow. They going pretty smooth with a good rootball and patience. But yeah, for my auto's I'm going right to the final pot myself after I see a taproot.

i dont even bother with that. been reading a lot of people say 'what would mother nature do'. well she would just drop the seed into the soil and let it do its thing. no germing in paper or water. just damp soil. 100% germ rate so far. (only done it with 4 seeds 
). getting all my wiring done today and my scrog screen is finished.
i scavenged the wood from a wooden pallet and the chicken wire was from an old rabbit hutch from a neighbour. was only 1" squares but i cut them to 2". used nails i pulled from the pallet to hold it all together. measurements are 35cm d 70cm l and 35cm h
ive also decided against the drying box. im going to wire 2 fans onto the scrog screen. one n each side to keep air circulating in the canopy. i will be using the twin 12v xbox fans on a 5v power source.. i have 2 ww bag seeds that have been topped for 4 main colas being lst'd until they are big enough to go under the screen. im switching to 12/12 for a week to get them to sex so i dont waste too much time on them if they are male. (may collect some pollen to cross with my bb auto). then gonna switch back to 20/4 for rest of the ak47s life. should be 2-2.5 weeks till they are done. may need to double harvest them though as the lower buds are still very small. the tops are pretty small as well tbh but its my first go and ill be happy with 1-2 oz of smokeable bud.

hey a suggestion due to your situation have you ever looked into vertical scrog its basically a tube fashioned from chicken wire and pvc or wood that 4 plants could be weaved through with a single light for that amount of room probably a 250 watt hps or cfl possibly larger but do some auto flowering with that it works incredibly well and conserves room .37 m2 or like 1 foot by 1 foot by 4 feet is a tube with a circumference ie grow space of about 4 m2 which is far larger than low scrog screens like that
