No. I am ashamed of the Country and its leaders. Accountability wise, America, IMO, is not something to be proud of. I personally think its a gross thought to be proud of America, and its history. I stated I was proud to serve the people, not the country. I think the people have had shit pulled over there eyes for so long they cant help but blindly chest pound! Its a very false sense of pride in america!

Bob, those patient-caregivers that are maxed out can only possess 15oz of useable cannabis. Those that possess cannabis far exceeding that weight are already breaking the law, and if caught will probably be prohibited from using a medical defense in court.

The caregivers that grow for 5 patients, and sometimes themselves, deserve to be fairly compensated. With all the growing, maintaining, trimming, curing, butter making, cooking medibles, rso and hash making, they would seem to have a full time job in doing so. Trimming alone!

Doesn't mean we're the evil ones though, we're getting exploited too. A lot of foreigners I've talked with have been more aware of this than us. When Rome fell the standard of living in the provinces rose.

My position has been the same all along. The people hiding behind the medical law, are hurting both the med law, AND any hope of decriminalization.

There are far fewer "fakers" than you think. Over 30% of Michiganders suffer from chronic pain. A lot of those are young people. People of your age tend to be a lot less open minded about cannabis than yourself (unfortunately) so even though there's a lot of need in your generation, there's few who sign up. Now, conversely, with those of my generation (mid-20s) people are very open minded about cannabis, and if they have a chronic pain problem they are likely to sign up. So, we end up with a lot of young people in the program and few elderly folks.

There's a lot of young people who fit the part of a "stoner" but they also usually have very real injuries or diseases. Try talking with a few of them sometime and ask what their condition is, you'd be surprised.

As for myself, I look young and healthy (outside of being clinically underweight) but I have a plethora of health problems. I usually can't really walk around much because of nerve damage from shingles but of course I will only be seen in public on good days, or when I've been using narcotics + cannabis. I grew up in a stiff upper lip family so I don't show the pain or complain about it unless it's so bad I can't move, at which point you'll never see me because I'm bedridden. There's a lot in my position... I also thought for a while it was mostly fakers, but then when I started talking with those people, I felt bad because I was horribly wrong.

The people I think are really screwing us over are the clubs/hydro shops/certification mills who advertise with photos of women in bikinis and have names like "bongariffic."

I disagree with bob harris on many things but this is too far. He's not evil... debating others can be frustrating, but still, myself I wish him well and just hope he comes to understand our perspective, that's all...

We average a war every 10 years. That is the highest war rate in the world. Bare none. Compared to Canada which averages a way ever 70 years, I would say that concludes us as evil. Yes, America is an evil empire.
As a country, and with regards to its history, we have had more wars than any other country on earth. Anti-Americanism is at an all time high, I would guess its not cause we got more tv hours than the rest of the world, I would imagine its cause we are an evil empire and the world knows!

I spent the first 20 years of my life in Canada. When you turn the news on there, you tend to get a more objective look at things .... less spin. For Americans it's very tough to step back, put yourself in someone else's shoes, and look at the world through a different perspective when all you hear is the nonsense that's drilled in to our heads here 24/7.

Wrong. Modern America is very heavily influenced by the Romans. Much of our "intelligence" comes from their inventions. Bare None, the ROMANS WERE the GREATEST EMPIRE EVER! The Roman Empire ruled for 500 years...THE WORLD...America is barley over 200 years old! The Rule of Rome itself goes much longer than 500 years!
