I have a space heater with red LEDs that show at night. Been using it for a month or so. I just happened to read that red light is not a safe night light. You guys think this will cause hermies later on?
idk, i think people over hype light leaks causing hermies honestly.. here's why..
i grow in a small closet, and i always keep the door open a good few inches all of the time to help with heat.. been growing in said closet for over 3 years and have never had one hermie.. grown both regular seeds and fems from many breeders..
and secondly, i have a power strip that has a red light on the end of the plug that is on all of the time, and again, never a hermied plant, not a one...
and look at the outdoors.. i like to look at nature for common sense when it comes to growing.. some nights the moon is on full blast and it's pretty light outside, and how often do you hear about plants going hermie from moon light?? my guess is not a one..
of course i would think that growing outdoors right under a street light would cause problems, but small amounts of light, not so much imo and ime..
